The website you need to visit for your reservation is maintained by ReserveAmerica. Sites can accommodate RVs up to 40 feet in length. There is a dump station for black and gray water. Additional amenities for campers include four bathhouses with showers. There is also a convenient laundry facility. Pets are welcome in the park but must be on a leash that is no longer that 6 feet. There is a gift shop and a grill that serves fresh food. If you need Wi-Fi service you can go online at the grill/gift shop location. Also, you'll be able to rent canoes, kayaks, paddleboards, sail boats and bicycles at the concession area. The highlight for most people visiting Anastasia State Park is the four miles of beach where you can swim, beachcomb, bike, fish, collect shells, take in the sun and walk in the surf. Although motorized traffic is not allowed on the beach, there are beach wheelchairs available at no cost. There are some rules and restrictions you must observe including being aware that pets are not permitted on the beach and to prevent damage to fragile vegetation visitors are not allowed to enter the sand dunes. Surfing is a popular activity all year at Anastasia State park. Surfers should be extra careful of strong tidal activity and rip currents. If you intend to swim in the ocean find out what warnings have been posted about dangerous rip currents. Generally, there is a lifeguard on duty between Memorial Day and Labor Day. Watch out for dangerous marine life such as stingrays, stinging jellyfish and sharks. When you've finished your day at the beach there are restrooms that have outdoor showers so you can wash away the salt and sand. You can picnic at one of the park's three picnic areas (accessible). Both the Sea Turtle  and Windsurf Picnic Pavilions are available for rental. Kids will enjoy playing at one of the three playgrounds located within the park. Visitors to the park will also enjoy the Ancient Dunes Trail loops and the Coquine Quarry historic site. The Old Fort (Castillo de San Marcos National Monument) located in St. Augustine was constructed from materials mined in this section of the State Park. Another highlight for campers and visitors is the St. Augustine Amphitheater where a Farmer's market is held every Saturday and a number of activities are held at the Amphitheater. One of the more popular activities in the park revolve around observation of the wildlife. Anastasia State Park is home to a wide variety of seabirds and is located on The Great Florida Birding and Wildlife Trail. In addition to a rich variety of feathered creatures you'll enjoy watching out for dolphins, stingrays, crabs manatees, sea turtles and an enormous variety of species of fish.
