These positions ideally suited for Canadian work campers who reside full time in their RV's. 40 Mile Park is a family- oriented recreation area and campground located on the 40 Mile Reservoir. It is operated by the County of Forty Mile No.8. We are located between the Villages of Foremost and Bow Island, Alberta at Hwy 879 and Township Road 84. The 11 km long water body was constructed for storage of irrigation water in Southern Alberta by the St. Mary’s River Irrigation District. The Park has a boat launch, which provides a popular hotspot for camping, fishing, and other boating activities in a clean deep body of water. As Park Host, you will be required to provide assistance to and greet Park users in a courteous, cheerful and welcoming manner. You will be required to operate the entrance gate office to the Park including collecting Park fees, booking and coordinating overnight campsite reservations using the Campground Master Program, distributing prepared information to Park Users, responding to inquiries, and referring Park matters to the Park Manager. We require 20 hours per week, which will be in trade for a free campsite. Additional hours required will be negotiated prior to commencement. Shifts will consist of a flexible 8 hours (20-30 hours total per week, starting ASAP until Sept. 30 with a minimum of 2 or 3 consecutive days off a week). Small Farm Developing New Rv Park Needing Work Camper In Alberta,

We are looking for an RV single or couple to look after our property that we are developing for an RV park. We need someone to cut grass, manage weeds, water trees, security and other small maintenance jobs. We have some sites in place and are in the process of adding power, water and sewer to each, but there is no internet or cable TV and cell service is not great in the area currently. One site is being used by a friend who can move since he is not helping with maintenance, etc. We can get 30 amp or even 50 amp to a site and water also....but you need a filter (the sodium level is high). We have a septic system so dumping into the sewer is possible (this may be all part of the maintenance that we need help with). The property was a small farm and is near the small community of Milo, AB and the north end of MacGregor Lake with boating and fishing. There are some buildings on the property (the house is not liveable and we will be removing it eventually). We can't pay so it would be a free place to live for the summer. This is an ideal position for those who enjoy the outdoors and interacting with the public. A free campsite is provided, and remuneration is $2,000 per month, per couple.
