someone who would love to live up in the beautiful Sequoia national Forest, 20 miles up from Lake Isabella
The job would be taking reservations making breakfast for the guests, changing out the bedding after a
guest leaves cleaning the room doing laundry. Not too many bookings Will be during the week mostly on
Fridays and Saturdays. I will be up there every weekend when there's bookings. I need someone to watch over
the property when I'm not there.

Camp Host Wanted At Vintage Trailer Park
Private vintage trailer park in rural San Diego mountains looking for live-in camp host.
Qualities desired: suave, friendly, creative person with attention to detail (i.e. noticing broken
The park is for recreation purposes only – there are no full time residents (except hosts). This is a
shared position so although hosts may live on-site full time, hosts will only need to be on-duty for two
weeks at a time (two weeks on, two weeks off duty).
Tasks include: security rounds, selling firewood, being present at night should something arise (most of
your time will be your own because other staff does management, repair and maintenance).
Pets and significant others allowed. Prefer selected candidate to have their own trailer. Year-round

The Modoc National Forest offers some of the most spectacular natural surroundings
anywhere. However, only a special few take the opportunity to experience all the area has to offer
while also volunteering to help others do the same.

The recreation season generally lasts from mid-May through mid-October. Applications are available at

vehicle parking. In addition to the 43-site campground, the recreation site has a picnic area, boat launch

Hello: My name is Joe Cunningham. My wife Cathy and I own Camp James RV Park/Campground
in Kernville, California. Our park has 76 sites. All sites are either on the river or on the creek
that runs through the park. We are by far the nicest park in kern county. you can look at us online at
We are looking for a couple to work in the front office and maintenance department of our park. The
positions are permanent full time year round. We are looking to fill these positions now, so we’re looking
for couples who can start immediately or in the very near future. We want team players that will fit in
with our existing group.
One employee will work in the front office. This person must have great people skills, be computer savvy
and be capable of learning our software program. I can't stress enough how important it is for you to be
able to sell Camp James both over the phone and in face to face situations. We are not looking for an order
taker. We need an enthusiastic, bubbly, won’t take no for an answer person, who enjoys selling sites in a
beautiful park. This employee needs to be in good physical health and possess or have the ability to
acquire a valid california drivers license.
The second person will work in the maintenance department. This job will require a full
knowledge of plumbing, electrical, landscaping. grounds keeping and all other facets of park
maintenance. You will be required to operate a small tractor/backhoe and become certified to operate
and work on our boom lift which we use for tree work. You will need to have the skills to move RVs to
and from our storage lot and to spot the units on a camp site. You must be in good physical shape and
either possess or have the ability to acquire a valid california drivers license. You will be working
with two other experienced maintenance men who will help you understand what we are trying to
accomplish at Camp James.

Barbara. It’s also one of the City’s finest open space and natural areas. The Park is privately managed
by the Elings Park Foundation, a non-profit organization. The Foundation is seeking volunteers as Park
Hosts to assist staff administer a 230 acre urban park and serve 250,000 annual visitors.
Park Hosts must be customer oriented, friendly and patient. A Park host will spend most of their time
outdoors performing a wide array of services, including but not limited to general park maintenance and

Day Use Firing Range)
Immediate opening for a caretaker attendant at Lytle Creek Firing Line, a
public shooting range. We are a remote day use firing range that is looking for RVing hosts.
A secluded fee for use area, located in the chaparral covered northern San
Bernadino National Forest is looking for the proper individual or couple who is looking for a Southern
California RV location.
Conveniently located close to I-15/215, and 210 Freeways, Rancho Cucamonga
and San Bernardino are easily accessed. The facility is located at the 4,400’ elevation in the shadow of
Mt. Baldy, highest peak in the San Gabriel Mountain range, and the Sheep Mountain Wilderness Area, in the
Lytle Creek Canyon drainage.
The adjoining communities are still rural, however a large mall and other
amenities are a half hour drive.
Low humidity without extreme temperatures makes for a comfortable
environment the majority of the year.
Activities in a developing controlled shooting range includes the use of
firearms and archery equipment from designated locations at designated targets. This is a controlled use
area. A tolerance of firearms is expected.
It is open seven days a week, and closes at 16:00 and opens at 08:00. The
hosts are expected to maintain a presence on the property after hours, merely as a deterrent to

Camp Hosts Needed for Portola Redwoods State
Portola Redwoods State Park is looking for enthusiastic and reliable camp hosts. There are 53
sites in the main campground, six walk-in sites, four hike and bike sites and four group camps. The park's
campgrounds are nestled among the redwoods and beautiful Peters Creek and Pescadero Creeks flow through
Camp host duties include assisting staff with fee
collection, providing visitors with park information, light housekeeping, map and wood sales, and reporting
incidents and emergencies. There is a minimum two-month commitment and a maximum six-month stay. The preference
is for a host who can commit to a six-month assignment, but we can be flexible.
Newly renovated camp host site! Electricity, water
and sewer are provided. There is also a phone line and high-speed Internet at the host site. Maximum length is
27 feet for trailers and 30 feet for motor homes. Be aware that the road into the park is steep and winding.
The park is located 9 miles from the nearest store and 14 miles from the nearest gasoline.
