Vintage Trailer Park Host Wanted in California

Pinecrest Retreat RV Park is a private vintage trailer park in rural San Diego mountains. We are looking for a live-in camp host. Qualities desired: suave, friendly, creative person with attention to detail (i.e. noticing broken water lines). The park is for recreation purposes only – there are no full time residents (except hosts). This is a shared position so although hosts may live on-site full time, hosts will only need to be on-duty for two weeks at a time (two weeks on, two weeks off duty). Tasks include: security rounds, selling firewood, stocking bathrooms, monitoring water tank level, being present at night should something arise (most of your time will be your own because other staff does management, repair and maintenance). Pets and significant others allowed. Selected candidate must have their own trailer. Year-round trailer site and utilities are provided in exchange for minimal hosting responsibilities. Lassen RV Resort Is Looking For Work Campers Starting April 2017 In Northern California

Lassen RV Resort is a privately owned RV Campground Resort with 44 mostly full hook sites with 30 or 50 amps. We are located in Northern California about 29 miles East of Burney Falls, about 50 miles from Lassen National Park, a few minutes from Ahjumawi Lava Springs State Park, an hour from Mt. Shasta, a couple of hours from Mt. Ashland, Oregon, and about 1.5 hours from the border of Oregon. We are looking for work campers starting April 2017. We prefer NON-SMOKING campers, not excessive drinkers and please NO DRUGS even if it's "medicinal". No commitment, we can go week by week, stay as long or short as long as it's working out for both of us. If you like winter camping, we may consider a couple or single worker camper for the winter while we are closed. You will be provided with a full hook-up site for your well maintained rig and will include water, sewer, garbage and coins enough for 6 loads of laundry per month as well as electricity up to $80 per month. Triple Creek Ranch Inc. Totally volunteer run therapy horse program. We serve children and adults with mental, emotional and physical disabilities plus other youth programs. We have the use of 40 acres that is donated to us to run our program on. Little Grass Valley Reservoir, located  approximately three miles north of La Porte, California on the Plumas National Forest in the beautiful northern Sierra Nevada mountains is looking for a campground host. Opportunity Description: The recreation complex consists of 8 family campgrounds around the reservoir. The Feather River Ranger District is recruiting volunteer campground hosts for several of these campgrounds. Volunteer campground hosts are frontline representatives of the Forest Service. Hosts are essential to our recreation program, helping provide enjoyable camping experiences. Duties included welcoming visitors, posting daily reservations, educating the public about the local area and regulations such as fire safety and quiet hours, monitoring fee compliance, and some minor maintenance, such as raking or stocking restrooms as needed. Hosts assist Forest Service staff with customer service and overall care of the campgrounds and day use areas. Hosts must be neat in appearance, respectful and have good people skills. Typical work schedules include weekends and holidays. The season extends from mid May through early October, 2016. Area information Little Grass Valley Recreation Area offers opportunities for many recreation experiences for visitors. Three boat launch ramps provide access to the water for fishing, water-skiing, sailing, or simply touring on boats. There is a wheel chair accessible fishing ramp by at the dam. Two swim beaches provide excellent swimming and picnicking opportunities. The Lakeshore Trail (13 miles) winds around the entire lake, open for horseback riding, mountain bike riding and hiking. Visitors may also enjoy watching wildlife, or exploring nearby historic gold mining towns. The Plumas National Forest encompasses over a million acres of tree-covered mountains, filled with hundreds of high alpine lakes and thousands of miles of clear running streams. Elevations range from 3,000 to 8,000 feet. The area has four seasons with warm to hot days and warm to cool nights in the summer, and periodic snowstorms in the winter. Average annual precipitation is about 35~40 inches a year. Year- round county population is approximately 25,000. Within a half day or less drive are Lake Tahoe, Reno, Sacramento, Susanville, San Francisco, Redding, Chico, California coast, Lake Shasta, Lassen Volcanic National Park and a vast variety of activities and opportunities. A campground host is needed at Little Grass Valley

Little Grass Valley Reservoir, located  approximately three miles north of La Porte, California on the Plumas National Forest in the beautiful northern Sierra Nevada mountains is looking for a campground host. Opportunity Description: The recreation complex consists of 8 family campgrounds around the reservoir. The Feather River Ranger District is recruiting volunteer campground hosts for several of these campgrounds. Volunteer campground hosts are frontline representatives of the Forest Service. Hosts are essential to our recreation program, helping provide enjoyable camping experiences. Duties included welcoming visitors, posting daily reservations, educating the public about the local area and regulations such as fire safety and quiet hours, monitoring fee compliance, and some minor maintenance, such as raking or stocking restrooms as needed. Hosts assist Forest Service staff with customer service and overall care of the campgrounds and day use areas. Hosts must be neat in appearance, respectful and have good people skills. Typical work schedules include weekends and holidays. The season extends from mid May through early October, 2016. Area information Little Grass Valley Recreation Area offers opportunities for many recreation experiences for visitors. Three boat launch ramps provide access to the water for fishing, water-skiing, sailing, or simply touring on boats. There is a wheel chair accessible fishing ramp by at the dam. Two swim beaches provide excellent swimming and picnicking opportunities. The Lakeshore Trail (13 miles) winds around the entire lake, open for horseback riding, mountain bike riding and hiking. Visitors may also enjoy watching wildlife, or exploring nearby historic gold mining towns. The Plumas National Forest encompasses over a million acres of tree- covered mountains, filled with hundreds of high alpine lakes and thousands of miles of clear running streams. Elevations range from 3,000 to 8,000 feet. The area has four seasons with warm to hot days and warm to cool nights in the summer, and periodic snowstorms in the winter. Average annual precipitation is about 35~40 inches a year. Year-round county population is approximately 25,000. Within a half day or less drive are Lake Tahoe, Reno, Sacramento, Susanville, San Francisco, Redding, Chico, California coast, Lake Shasta, Lassen Volcanic National Park and a vast variety of activities and opportunities. Popular activities within Plumas County and the Plumas National Forest include hiking, fishing, hunting, camping, boating, white water rafting, cross country skiing, snowmobiling, and wildlife viewing.
