ESSENTIAL DUTIES:

Customer Relations:

  • Act as a liaison between Development and current and future residents of the resort

Budget Responsibilities:

  • Oversee daily preparation of cashier reports, payroll and other daily, weekly and monthly reports.
  • Oversee the collection reports and security of monies from registration fees and sales.
  • Track budget progress and report any discrepancies
  • Actively participate in future projections of growth for the property
  • Maintain an accurate computerized guest registration system

QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS

  • Previous experience in property, hospitality or similar management experience, including minimum five years supervisory experience required
  • Experience developing and maintaining long term customer relationships an asset
  • Demonstrated leadership abilities
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Ability to organize and prioritize projects
  • IT literate, advanced skills utilizing Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook
  • Working knowledge of basic accounting principles

Most people come to Winter Harbour for the fishing. There is only one general store here (ours!) and no restaurants.
