Lake McGregor Country EstatesLake McGregor Country Estates is an expanding private four  season resort development approximately 33 km east of Vulcan, Alberta on Hwy 531. It currently consists of a combination of approximately 160 house and RV lots individually owned by Lake McGregor Community Association members. The Community  Association facilities are set in a park like setting on Lake McGregor and include things such as water and waste treatment plants, clubhouse, swimming pools, tennis court, boat docks, beach, ball diamond, and guest rental RV camping stalls.

The WorKamper position provides an opportunity for the successful applicants (couples preferred) to support permanent staff with maintenance and security of buildings, pools and rounds; and checking in guests into rental RV sites. You must have the ability to act as a role model with your own campground ethics.

While not a requirement, preference will be given to candidates with one or more of the following:

With lake access and a desert-like climate, sw̓iw̓s park is one of the most popular provincial parks in British Columbia.

The role of the Volunteer Host is to enhance visitor services by creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere in the campground. Volunteer Hosts work under the direction of the Park Manager and the Osoyoos Indian Band to provide a welcoming atmosphere in the park. Volunteer Hosts are responsible for welcoming visitors to the park, providing information on the park and surrounding area, helping to sell firewood and opening or closing park gates.

sẁiẁs Provincial ParkThis is a non-paid position. Volunteer hosts are asked to perform a minimum of 20 volunteer hours a week. We are a motel and cottage business requiring a couple for housekeeping and maintenance for the 2016 season. This detail oriented couple will be responsible for cleaning and preparing our guest rooms and cottages: making the beds, cleaning the kitchens and bathrooms, vacuuming, dusting, laundry and room preparation, and for basic grounds & building maintenance tasks and projects.

Bayview Motel, Chalets and RV ParkThe successful candidates will use a golf cart to get around the property as you travel between the motel, the laundry, the cottages and the campground. You will be able to manage your time to ensure that the rooms are ready for guests by check-in time and you will enjoy being responsible for the myriad details that go into making our guests stay a comfortable and enjoyable experience. We are looking for a couple with strong work ethics who will take ownership for all aspects of the property and will be ready to turn their hand to whatever needs doing.

Candidates should be in good health and capable of lifting up to 50 lbs., climbing a ladder, bending and stretching to complete general household and grounds keeping tasks. One person should be experienced and proficient at housekeeping in the motel industry while the second person will be more maintenance and repair oriented.

The position is approximately 40 hours per week. Hours and time off will be determined by daily operational requirements; generally 1 full day off per week as well as early days during quieter periods. There will be lots of time for exploring nearby Fundy National Park, the Village of Alma and the beautiful Fundy Valley. The towns of Moncton, Sussex and St. John are all close by.

This position offers accommodation, if required, and an hourly wage for approximately 40 hours per week. This is a remote community on the west coast of Vancouver Island. Sports Fishing is BIG here - salmon, halibut, lingcod, red snapper. Lots of great hikes, amazing beaches, abundant wildlife, and few people. Winter Harbour has fewer than a dozen permanent residents, and summertime the population swells to about 300. Most people come to Winter Harbour for the fishing. There is only one general store here (ours!) and no restaurants.

The Outpost at Winter HarbourIf you're looking for a summertime experience, meeting people from all over North America & the world, in a quiet but spectacular setting, come to Winter Harbour! We offer free camping plus pay for a couple or individual who want to work.

Positions include:
