Camping Miramichi is a small campground and Treehouse Resort located 10 km south of Miramichi, NB.  A country setting on 200 acres.   This is a summer seasonal position requiring candidates to collectively work about 60hrs per week and live in the campground in their own RV.   We will provide a full service site with picnic table and fire pit, electricity, water, laundry and wifi and compensation of $1500/month.   Main responsibilities include but are not limited to: Office reception Check in/check out. Making Reservations. Customer service. Sales, retail and firewood. Staff supervision. Housekeeping, Cleaning of accommodations, washrooms and campground. Think outside the box! Ideal position for an independent and reliable couple to work for the summer in a quiet fishing village on New Brunswick’s Fundy Coast. We are a motel and cottage business requiring a couple for housekeeping and maintenance for the 2016 season. This detail oriented couple will be responsible for cleaning and preparing our guest rooms and cottages: making the beds, cleaning the kitchens and bathrooms, vacuuming, dusting, laundry and room preparation, and for basic grounds & building maintenance tasks and projects. The successful candidates will use a golf cart to get around the property as you travel between the motel, the laundry, the cottages and the campground. You will be able to manage your time to ensure that the rooms are ready for guests by check-in time and you will enjoy being responsible for the myriad details that go into making our guests stay a comfortable and enjoyable experience. We are looking for a couple with strong work ethics who will take ownership for all aspects of the property and will be ready to turn their hand to whatever needs doing. Candidates should be in good health and capable of lifting up to 50 lbs., climbing a ladder, bending and stretching to complete general household and grounds keeping tasks. One person should be experienced and proficient at housekeeping in the motel industry while the second person will be more maintenance and repair oriented. The position is approximately 40 hours per week. Hours and time off will be determined by daily operational requirements; generally 1 full day off per week as well as early days during quieter periods. There will be lots of time for exploring nearby Fundy National Park, the Village of Alma and the beautiful Fundy Valley. The towns of Moncton, Sussex and St. John are all close by. This position offers accommodation, if required, and an hourly wage for approximately 40 hours per week.
