Welaka Lodge & Resort Is Currently Looking For Long Term Workampers For 2016
Long term workampers needed beginning in the spring of 2016 and staying through the winter months
(or longer if desired).
Presently, we have 3 long term couples and would like to add to our team.
The Lodge is a small rural resort located on the banks of the St. John’s River in a beautiful “Old Florida” setting
in the friendly little town of Welaka, Florida.
We only require 20 hours of work per couple per week, so you’ll have lots of time for other activities. In
addition to the gorgeous river location, the Lodge is less than an hour from great beaches, historic Old St.
Augustine & lots of other attractions! Or if you prefer hiking or bicycling, there are plenty of options
available there too.
In exchange for the work hours, we offer a 50 amp water & sewer site including free electricity, wi-fi and
reduced food and beverage rates at our seasonally open onsite Boathouse Dock Bar. No monetary compensation is

Housekeeping Workcamper Position Available At Lake Rousseau RV Park Outside
Crystal River, Florida
Workcamp in a friendly, family-owned and -operated park on the banks of beautiful Lake
This is a part-time, year-round position for applicants looking for a long-term situation. In exchange for 80
hours of work per month (20 hours per week) per occupied site, year-round workcampers receive free lot rent,
electricity, propane, laundry quarters, work shirts, and storage, plus 20% off camp store merchandise and two weeks
of vacation per year after one year.
Any hours worked over the 80-hour monthly requirement are compensated at a straight $9.00 per
hour. Interested applicants will need to have a secondary source of income, as hourly overages for
housekeeping positions are incidental in nature.
Workcampers must live on site and must provide their own RV's to live in. We allow up to two people and two dogs
per RV site; no aggressive dog breeds. Couples please note that this position is for one worker only; we do not
hire couples to split hours, and we only hire one member of a couple for our staffing purposes across departments.
Also please note that we do not have any openings for "winter only" or other seasonal workcamping.

Dads for Boys Ranch Is Looking For Spiritual Married Couple in Umatilla,
This is a Boys Ranch and provides also Christian Family Camping.
If you are a retired spiritual married couple and have some handy hands... (and perhaps a zero turn mower would
be extremely helpful) this is the job for you.
If you have your own camper/trailer you can live here at the Dads for Boys Ranch in Umatilla, FL for free in
exchange for groundskeeping. We supply electricity, water, cable and internet as well. The ranch is very
rural and we are trying to make the image a bit more pleasant and we need your help.
Only three hours per day Monday through Friday and at least one Saturday per month of
groundskeeping, usually 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. After that we might have some projects that pay $10.00 per
hour or you may have your own part-time job elsewhere? The hours are for one person, however, you may split
the time between the couple or enjoy working out here as much as you wish. It will be your home as well,
therefore, it is in your interest as well to make it as nice as possible.
May not be every day but there is always something to do. Detailing boats, cars, clean the shoppe, help with
pick ups of donations, putting up yards signs ($1.00 per piece, usually 50 on Fridays), some marketing and

The Florida Fish & Wildlife Conservation Commission is Seeking Volunteers In
Osceola County, Florida
Needing volunteers to work at our Three Lakes Wildlife Management Area hunter check station
between 19 September 2015 and 24 April 2016, in exchange for a beautiful free RV site.
We are located in central Osceola County, FL, approximately 15 miles south of Holopaw along Highway 441. Nearby
towns include St. Cloud (~25 miles), Kissimmee (~35 miles), Orlando (~50 miles), and Melbourne (~50 miles). We are
within an hour's drive of Disney World, Universal Studios, theme parks, and beaches.
There are five full hook-up RV sites with electricity, sewer, and water. The area is very remote, so if you
enjoy the outdoors, a rural lifestyle, and outdoor recreation such as hunting and fishing, you will probably be
well-suited for this position. We also have a “clubhouse” for the volunteers, with a refrigerator, stove,
restrooms, and laundry facilities.
Volunteers’ primary duties will be to monitor recreational use on the Management Area, provide information to
the public, and collect biological data. This includes keeping count of hunters and other recreational users,
checking various licenses and permits, providing information to hunters and recreational users, and collecting
biological data from harvested animals. No previous experience is necessary and training will be provided by staff
biologists. However, if hunting is objectionable to you, or if you are reluctant to handle dead animals, then you
should not apply. In addition to work at the check station, volunteers may assist with facility maintenance, data
entry, and other tasks as needed.
In exchange for hookups and use of facilities, we request at least 32 hours of work each week. Days of the week
worked are somewhat flexible. The heaviest use of the Management Area occurs from September through December, and
consequently, some preference may be given to those people who can arrive early in the season.
