Dads for Boys Ranch Is Looking For Spiritual Married Couple in Umatilla, FL

Dads for Boys RanchThis is a Boys Ranch and provides also Christian Family Camping.

If you are a retired spiritual married couple and have some handy hands... (and perhaps a zero turn mower would be extremely helpful) this is the job for you.

If you have your own camper/trailer you can live here at the Dads for Boys Ranch in Umatilla, FL for free in exchange for groundskeeping. We supply electricity, water, cable and internet as well. The ranch is very rural and we are trying to make the image a bit more pleasant and we need your help.

Dads for Boys RanchOnly three hours per day Monday through Friday and at least one Saturday per month of groundskeeping, usually 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. After that we might have some projects that pay $10.00 per hour or you may have your own part-time job elsewhere? The hours are for one person, however, you may split the time between the couple or enjoy working out here as much as you wish. It will be your home as well, therefore, it is in your interest as well to make it as nice as possible.

May not be every day but there is always something to do. Detailing boats, cars, clean the shoppe, help with pick ups of donations, putting up yards signs ($1.00 per piece, usually 50 on Fridays), some marketing and networking, etc.

We also have many volunteer opportunities as well. Pulling weeds in our organic garden (you can enjoy some veggies in return).

We have a lakefront on Lake Yale that is absolutely beautiful and our sunsets are dreamy. Imagine dinner on the pontoon boat on the dock...

No smoking or drinking on property (its a ranch for children)

All we ask is that both of you get along very well with each other.
Have a positive attitude and love peace as much as we do out here.
Do not hunt any of the animals on the ranch.
Are very hard workers.
Are punctual, mature, responsible, reliable, honorable, and have integrity.
Your word is your honor.
Love children.
Are friendly and outgoing.

We will perform a background check. If background checks out you can start immediately.

Please call to make an appointment for an interview with Clay at 813-418-1683

The Florida Fish & Wildlife Conservation Commission is Seeking Volunteers In Osceola County, Florida

The Florida Fish & Wildlife Conservation CommissionNeeding volunteers to work at our Three Lakes Wildlife Management Area hunter check station between 19 September 2015 and 24 April 2016, in exchange for a beautiful free RV site.

We are located in central Osceola County, FL, approximately 15 miles south of Holopaw along Highway 441. Nearby towns include St. Cloud (~25 miles), Kissimmee (~35 miles), Orlando (~50 miles), and Melbourne (~50 miles). We are within an hour's drive of Disney World, Universal Studios, theme parks, and beaches.

There are five full hook-up RV sites with electricity, sewer, and water. The area is very remote, so if you enjoy the outdoors, a rural lifestyle, and outdoor recreation such as hunting and fishing, you will probably be well-suited for this position. We also have a “clubhouse” for the volunteers, with a refrigerator, stove, restrooms, and laundry facilities.

Volunteers’ primary duties will be to monitor recreational use on the Management Area, provide information to the public, and collect biological data. This includes keeping count of hunters and other recreational users, checking various licenses and permits, providing information to hunters and recreational users, and collecting biological data from harvested animals. No previous experience is necessary and training will be provided by staff biologists. However, if hunting is objectionable to you, or if you are reluctant to handle dead animals, then you should not apply. In addition to work at the check station, volunteers may assist with facility maintenance, data entry, and other tasks as needed.

In exchange for hookups and use of facilities, we request at least 32 hours of work each week. Days of the week worked are somewhat flexible. The heaviest use of the Management Area occurs from September through December, and consequently, some preference may be given to those people who can arrive early in the season.

If you are interested in this position, please contact Sara Miller at  with your qualifications.
