Maine For 2018 Season

We are located on the quiet side of Mt. Desert Island Maine, and summers are mostly cool and sometimes misty. Our campground is heavily wooded and about ¾ miles away from the ocean. We have very friendly campers. We are looking for individuals and couples with a strong understanding of working on a team; good customer service attitude; ability to work unsupervised; able to work in a schedule; positive attitude; ability to multi task; and willingness to learn new skills. Some job requirements are physically demanding. Job duties may include: Bathhouse cleaning, office cleaning, general maintenance, grounds maintenance, office duties, answering phone calls and using reservation software. Specialized skills are welcome. We have full hookup 30 and 50 amp service with water/sewer & cable, Internet, heated pool, and laundry services, Pets OK. We require a commitment of 3 or 6 months, and a deposit to be returned at the end of your commitment. Work campers staying for 6 months will receive a bonus for working all 6 months. The summer work will be divided into two sections, first of May through the end of July, and the first of August through the end of October. We require a 24 hours of work each week (can be split between couples) to be recorded, additional work will be paid. We also require that work campers keep their site clean and presentable to the public. We reserve the right to assign duties to work campers. Our Park is accepting applications for work campers for the 2018 season. Preference given to long term workers.  If you are looking for a relaxed stay close to beach & Portland & Quiet, we are the park for you! The park is located at 39 Dunstan Landing Rd, Scarborough ME near coast. We are known as the 'quiet, peaceful park & Adult only' in Southern Maine. We are looking for cheerful, strong work ethic, non-smoking, outgoing couples to help us with the park. Some work needs physically demanding. Job Duties may include: General maintenance, Cleaning, Light housekeeping, Grounds maintenance, Bathroom cleaning, Office Help, Answering phone calls and General guest relation services. Looking for friendly seniors or couples to Workcamp at our award-winning upscale family- friendly RV park in popular Southern Maine. We have 70 sites on 7 acres of beautiful Southern Maine (close to beach)! We need energetic, young-at-heart, able-bodied people. For 2018 season, we would provide you with nicely wooded, that have full hookup 30/50 amp electric with city sewer, City water & Cable, Internet and all utilities included in exchange for 24 hours of work per Week. Couples will each work 12 hours per week. We can discuss which days work best for you both. Outstanding customer service skills and positive attitude required! We have a wonderful group of campers here and we need them to be well taken care of. We are looking for cheerful, energetic retired couples (with RV's up to 30') willing to perform light maintenance and cleaning. We offer each couple a campsite PLUS hourly wages. Although our campground is designed for tenters and RV's under 20', we are able to accommodate RV's over 20' for those who work here. Electricity, water, and a honey wagon will be provided. Although our season runs from mid-June through September, we need help with some of the spring cleanup. Arriving in late May and departing in late September would be ideal.
