Clementz’s Northcountry Campground and
Cabins is Looking for a Work Camper for 2012 Season
Do you love the great outdoors? Do
you want to be away from it all but yet still be in civilization?
Clementz’s Northcountry Campground and Cabins, Newberry, Michigan is
looking for a work camper for the 2012 summer season. We would like someone to start by May 20th,
2012 and plan on staying till mid September or possibly a bit longer. We close
mid-October.
The person will receive a water and electric site with free cable TV hook
up and wifi. In exchange we will require 12-20 per week. There may be weeks that you have more
hours than 20 and there may be weeks where you might have less than 12.
The hours we require in exchange for the site are based on one person. If
there are two of you on the campsite, then there could be times where we may require additional hours per
week to assist with cleaning cabins, or other simpler duties.
All of our sites are pull thru’ so while it might be unhandy to have to go
to the dump station, it won’t be a task. You can easily get in and out of your spacious
site.
Duties will require a strong, physically fit person who is capable of
assisting with the mowing (both riding and push mowing), weed whacking, possibly cutting wood, and the
owner may occasionally need assistance with plumbing issues or painting to be done. You occasionally may be
required to be on a ladder. We hope to build new picnic tables starting sometime in late May to
June and would need assistance with that.
We are 4 ½ miles North of Newberry, Michigan where there are two grocery
stores, several gas stations, churches, lots of restaurants, a walk in clinic and a
hospital.
Our unique location puts us in the center of all the things to see and do
on the Eastern end of the Upper Peninsula of Michigan.
We are 20 minutes from Tahquamenon Falls, 40 minutes from the Great Lakes
Shipwreck Museum, about 80 minutes from Sault Ste. Marie, and the list goes on! There is lots of
fishing in the area. Visit our website at www.northcountrycampground.com to see who we are and where we are!
You can contact us by email at northcountrycampground@gmail.com. Please feel
free to send your resume and photos of you and your RV. Please put the subject matter as :
application for work camping 2012.
We will be out of the office from around October 18th till late April, but
we will be constantly checking emails.
Since the need for a work camper arises from a health issue on our end, we
hope to receive only serious inquiries.
Thanks!
