The Meeker County Parks Department Is Looking For A Camp Host In
The Meeker County Parks Department, in Central MN is looking for a campground host for the 2016
camping season at Lake Koronis Regional Park in Paynesville, MN. (Paynesville, MN is located in Meeker County,
This position is under the direction of the Campground Manager and the Parks Superintendent and is responsible
for helping to maintain a clean, safe and pleasant campground for the public to enjoy.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Every other weekend, holidays, and holiday weekends: assist Campground Manager with checking in guests,
escorting guests to campsite, delivering firewood, performing campground patrol, and cleaning
- Mondays, Thursdays and Fridays following weekends off: clean and restock shower rooms and rest rooms in the
morning, and recheck in the afternoon, clean campsites and fire-pits.
- Hours and duties can be adjusted to suit both the Campground Host and Managers schedules contingent upon
Parks Superintendent approval.
- During camping season, Koronis Park must have constant supervision. Campground Manager and Campground Hosts
will share in this responsibility.
- Performs other duties as assigned by Parks Superintendent.
- Ability to get along well with others.
- Ability to organize work.
- Basic computer skills.
Compensation includes free campsite plus $200/month in exchange for the time necessary to perform required
duties for the job.

Waldheim Resort In Minnesota Is Looking For A Resort Campground Host
We're a smaller resort campground with 29 full hook-up RV sites and five fully equipped log
furnished lakefront Cabins on Big Pine Lakes in Finlayson, MN.
Located 1/2 way between Duluth & Twin Cities off 35N/S.
The Resort Campground Host site is located at Waldheim Resort. Campground hosts would perform guest relations
and maintenance functions at the Resort Campground. Hours may vary and can be expected to include hours during the

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Greet and welcome visitors to the resort campground, provide information and supplies, assist with light
housekeeping and maintenance functions of the resort cabins & campground and serve as an emergency contact
person for the resort campground. These activities include cabin & camper check in/out, campground record
keeping, light cleaning, laundry, supplies stocked and maintenance of cabin area & camper sites, beach,
docks along with bathhouse, village buildings; sell firewood and ice, rental equipment, assists with special
events and notify owners, other staff or law enforcement when emergencies arise.
- Attendance during regularly scheduled hours, hours vary.
- Effective and respectful communication and interactions with other individuals workers and customers.
- Performs other manual labor and related functions as required or assigned.
- Knowledge of cabin rental, camping and the operation and maintenance of a campground.
- Available and participate in all events during your stay.
Must be at least 25 years, teachers and retirees are welcomed, physically fit for light duty work, enjoy people,
accomplishing tasks, keep vital areas orderly, happy disposition and motivated. Duties may require operating
hours on nights and weekends. Minimum of 2+ month commitment required.

The Black Lantern Retreat has an RV Park with 7 sites, 2 rental cabins and is an outside wedding
venue. Located 17 miles north of the north entrance of Itasca State Park or 25 west of Bemidji, MN.

Camp Host At “City Beach” on Rainy Lake, Minnesota (Memorial Day Weekend
Through Labor Day)
Location: “City Beach”, 9.5 acres located on Rainy Lake, near International
Falls, Minnesota. International Falls is located on the U.S. and Canadian border, across from Fort
Frances, Ontario. Beach faces north to Fort Frances, Ontario. Rainy Lake is the 60th largest fresh water lake
in the world and is the northern gateway to Voyageurs National Park. Rainy Lake is a popular four season
destination. Summer offers great opportunities for fishing, swimming, boating, paddling, sightseeing,
lakeside dining, arts/culture programs at Backus Community Center, and naturalist guided activities in the

Beach Amenities: Sand beach, toddler swim area with slide, swim

Camp Host Responsibilities: International Falls public works
crews mow the lawn and empty trash receptacles. Host duties include, daily freshening of bathhouse, greet
campers and secure payment for tent sites and firewood, water flowers, open/lock gates, communicate with City Hall
staff regarding reservations for tent sites and pavilion and estimate visitor counts daily. Twice per
week, use the provided ATV and bed spring to comb beach.
Camp hosts must complete a formal application and authorize background checks.
City Provides: RV pad, water, sewer, electricity – a great
view and opportunity to enjoy one of North America’s greatest vacation destinations. We also understand there
may be times when hosts need to leave town for special events, occasions or emergencies. In these cases, City

The City of mankato is seeking a volunteer campground host. Duties and responsibilities are described below.
Campground hosts work with the Parks and Forestry Foreperson, acting as host and performing maintenance
functions at the Land of Memories Campground.
The Campground Host site is located at Land of Memories Campground. Host may vary and can be expected to
include hours during the day, evening, and weekends.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Greet and welcome visitors to the campground, provide information and supplies, assist with light
housekeeping and maintenance functions of the municipal campground and serve as an emergency contact person for
the campground. These activities include camper check in; campground record keeping; light cleaning and

from other organizations, and citizen customers.
- Performs other manual labor and related functions as required or assigned.

Must be at least 21 years of age at the beginning their volunteer duties, and able to volunteer a minimum of
four weeks. Duties may require operating hours on nights and weekends.

City of Warren Camp Host position
We are seeking interesting people who enjoy outdoor recreation, meeting new people and operating a very
successful campground. The camp host will work under direct supervision of the Operations Superintendent and
will be used within their ability to perform specific duties.
The camp host serves as a "live in" host and must possess good communications skills, good manners and a helpful
attitude. In addition, the camp host will be required to perform routine maintenance that includes manual labor
consisting of day-to-day maintenance and cleaning of campsites and toilet/shower facilities. This may include
servicing restrooms, cleaning and repairing tables, fire rings and camp sites, lawn mowing, weed eating, and other
repairs as needed in the campground.
The camp host will set an example by being a model camper, practice good housekeeping at all times in and around
the host site and by observing all the rules.
The camp host will take no law enforcement measures other than being an observant and advising user of
unintentional infractions. The camp host may be asked to serve as a witness for flagrant violations that have been
