Goat Peak Ranch Is Searching For Work Campers In Montana

We invite you to spend the summer/early fall in the beautiful Mission Valley of Montana at Goat Peak Ranch. We are 15 miles from Flathead Lake. Head on up to Glacier National Park, less than two hours away, for hiking, fishing, and exploring. The Bob Marshall Wilderness is just over the pass, an hour and half drive. World-class flyfishing is a short drive. We're about an hour from Missoula and an hour and 15 minutes from Kalispell. The spectacular Mission Mountains are right out our back door. Last fall we bought 10 beautiful acres and an old log house in the Mission Valley. We purchased the property with the intent of starting a non-profit retreat center for men with cancer and their families. Goat Peak will offer folks a place to get away from the everyday grind of being a cancer patient. We want them to experience the healing environment, quiet setting and majestic views of our little slice of paradise. We are looking for a couple to help us fulfill our dream of developing the retreat center. The work will vary but you'll need good handyman skills (carpentry, plumbing, electrical - or be willing to learn). You must be physically able to do some heavy lifting and enjoy outdoor work. Projects for this summer include landscaping, mowing, building/replacing decking and stairs, tree trimming, and various chores around the ranch. We have one small cabin we're working on right now. We'll also be doing a little work on the main house to make it more appealing to our guests. We have two friendly (and funny!) Nigerian Dwarf goats, a cat, a small dog and brood mares so any pets you have must be compatible. Schedule is flexible; 18 hours maximum/week in exchange for a FHU RV site - shady with a lovely view of Goat Peak & the Mission Mountains. Start as soon as possible through end of October. Please send resume, photos & three references to goatpeakranch@gmail.com  Thanks for checking us out and many blessings.

Seasonal Help Is Needed At Paul Ranch Montana Near Glacier National Park

This is an opportunity to combine work/play in Glacier National Park!! I have a small Ranch (one hundred sixty acres) on the east side of Glacier Park. Full time caretakers live on the property, manage the vacation rental business, and maintain the property, buildings and equipment.   Seasonal help is needed for housekeeping, landscaping, maintenance. In the planning is expanding the operation into a self-sustaining, organic enterprise: market garden, feeder steers, chickens. There are currently four Vacation Rentals on the property (three homes and a historic bunkhouse) and a lakeshore cabin for day use minutes from the Ranch. The Vacation Rentals are operated seasonally but expanding into the fall/winter. There are presently seven alpaca and one guard llama on the property that are sheared annually and their fiber processed by a mill. Within reason, your horse(s) would be welcome, pasture and water provided. If you don't have your own RV, I would provide a twenty-seven ft. travel trailer for housing. I would provide utilities, salary and a seasonal pass to Glacier National Park. The position is forty (or more) hours per week, if you are a couple the hours would be shared. Work hours scheduled are dependent on guest reservations; time off may not be on consecutive days. The area is very rural; wildlife abounds and the setting is exceptional: lots of peace and quiet, exceptional hiking and photography opportunities. The Ranch is twelve miles from Glacier Park, three miles from the Canadian Border, beautiful golf courses in the area including Waterton National Park. There are good restaurants in the summer season (but everything pretty much closes down for the winter) and world class, blue ribbon fishing in lakes and streams. Qualifications include being reliable and trustworthy, being drug-free, having a good work ethic and being a self-starter, knowledge of the Ranching lifestyle, experience in Ranch maintenance, livestock, hospitality services, knowledge and experience in landscaping, gardening and groundskeeping. A passport would be needed for traveling to Canada. If you’re interested, forward a resume including references and a recent photo. Please respond by email at yellowmtnco@yahoo.com, NO PHONE CALLS. I will email specific details on request. Equal Opportunity Employment. Visit our website at www.paulranch.com

Seasonal Help Is Needed At Paul Ranch Montana Near

Glacier National Park
