Paul Ranch Seeking Full-Time Caretakers

This is an opportunity to combine work/play in Glacier National Park!! I have a small Ranch (one hundred sixty acres) on the east side of Glacier Park. www.paulranch.com Full time caretakers occupy the property.

I am looking for a couple that would assist the current caretakers in the upkeep and maintenance of the property June through August/Sept (approx). The seasonal position would assist in repairing and maintaining the buildings and fences (post and barb wire), and assist in groundskeeping (including weed management) & gardening. There are three Vacation Rentals that are operated seasonally and assistance is needed with daily housekeeping and cleaning. There are presently six alpaca and one guard llama on the property. Within reason, your horse(s)would be welcome, pasture and water provided.

I would provide space and utilities for a self contained trailer or RV & reasonable wage, laundry facilities, wi-fi, and seasonal family pass to Glacier National Park. Work schedule could be four to five days per week, schedule depending on rental occupancy. This would allow you time to explore Glacier and the area at your leisure. The area is very rural; wildlife abounds and the setting is exceptional: lots of peace and quiet, exceptional hiking and photography opportunities. The Ranch is twelve miles from Glacier Park, three miles from the Canadian Border, beautiful golf courses in the area including Waterton Natl Park. There are good restaurants in the summer season and world class, blue ribbon fishing in lakes and streams.

Qualifications include reliable, trustworthy, experience in farming/ranching, livestock, barb wire fencing (building and repair), noxious weed management. A plus would be experience in the hospitality industry, skills in building maintenance and repair, and mechanically inclined for equipment maintenance (ATV, Ford tractor, vehicle, boat, small engine).

I would prefer you supply your own RV or travel trailer, but for the right couple we could work out something. This is a chance to spend your summer on a Ranch AND have plenty of time for Glacier National Park and surrounding area. Moose Creek Cabins & Inn Seasonal Positions

We have positions available for work campers in West Yellowstone, Montana. The positions offered are front desk, hotel positions. The hours are normally from 7 am to 3 pm and 3pm to 11 pm and from 11pm to 7 am. The front desk positions would be described as greeting a guest upon arrival to the hotel/motel, giving directions in and around town, places to eat, laundry, etc. and handing out keys with a smile. There are several camp/rv parks in the area. The season lasts from May through October 15th each year. Wages are DOE.

Johnson's is a small, family-run cafe and campground. We hire 20-25 people for the summer season. Our cafe seats 150-160 people, and our campground has over 100 campsites. We hire students for cooks, food servers and campground work. Johnson's provides on-the-job training for all positions. The work is very demanding, both physically and mentally. Employees must be able to work well under under pressure and have a positive attitude toward the public. Johnson's has an outstanding reputation, and we expect our employees to maintain that standard.

We also hire older couples with their own RV who wish to work and stay for the summer in our campground. This position involves mostly working in our campground office, which also has a splendid view of the mountains on the east side of Glacier Park.

Eagle's Store, West Yellowstone, Montana

We house some employees in rustic cabins near the store, and can be of some assistance in making other arrangements. Rent ranges from $200 to $500 per month. Employees who live in our housing must be high school graduates and willing to share accomodations with roommates. Because our housing is limited, we give preference to candidates who have their own housing. West Yellowstone has a number of RV parks where people often live for the summer in their own RVs.

Season: Our summer season is May through October. Applicants who are able to work at least through Labor Day are given priority in hiring. Where do employees live?
We offer a choice of accommodations for employees. Most employees live in town, at either the Buffalo Jump Lodge, which is owned by Ventures West Inc., or for those employees with RVs, at the various RV parks, that are owned by Ventures West Inc. There is a nominal charge for housing.

Is Experience Necessary?
Naturally, experience is important, but is not a requirement for most positions. We pride ourselves on the quality of our employees and our primary concern is that they have initiative, a willingness to learn, are dependable and possess a pleasant, cooperative personality.
