Multiple Work Camper Positions Available At Top of the Hill RV Resort

Top of the Hill RV ResortMaintenance Work Campers must provide our guests with an experience beyond their expectations!  Maintenance duties include escorting guests to their sites for check-ins, general maintenance, resort cleanup, trash pick-up, restroom maintenance, mowing, trimming, landscaping, cleaning the pool and hot tub, and various projects and other duties as needed, plus volunteering to help with special events.

Housekeeper Work Campers must provide our guests with an experience beyond their expectations!  Housecleaning duties include thorough cleaning of all of our public buildings and cabins, and other duties as needed, plus volunteering to help with special events.

Store Clerk Work Campers must provide our guests with an experience beyond their expectations!  Store Clerk position requires an outgoing personality person with good telephone voice, greeting customers, taking reservations, computer knowledge, cash register, stocking shelves, cleaning the store and other duties as needed, plus volunteering to help with special events.

Work Camper position is for trade of 28 hours per week, which is four 7 hour shifts per week and these shifts can be divided in any combination for Work camper couples.  Compensation is for your accommodations which include a full hookup site including utilities, propane deliveries, laundry, and a 10% General Store discount, but does NOT include pay.  Additionally, Top of the Hill RV Resort pays a $250.00 bonus for committing to and completing a full year of service (one bonus for one year of 28 hours of weekly service being completed).

Stewart Creek Park Is Seeking A Couple For A Park Host Position

Stewart Creek Park in The Colony, Texas is a city park on the north side of the Dallas/Fort Worth metro area. Located on Lake Lewisville, it is a serene oasis in the urban hustle and bustle.

We have an immediate opening for a couple to work as part-time park hosts. Work 20 hours per week (per couple, not per person) in exchange for an RV site with 50 amp electric and water. Dump station is near the site. Most work is in the gatehouse. No computer skills required.

Work Camper Couple Needed At Parrie Haynes Equestrian Center

I have a large horse camp in Killeen, Central Texas, Parrie Haynes Equestrian Center. Our web site is www.parriehaynesequestriancenter.com. There are 31 complete sites, with 30 amp hookups, water, and pens.  We have over 65 pens. The equestrian camp is a little less than 2,000 acres and the entire ranch is about 4,500 acres. It is well maintained and we have equipment.
 
We are in need of someone, especially a couple, to live on-site at the campground from May - November. I need help getting campers into sites and general help. You will help with keeping the camp orderly and the equipment secure.  Horses and dogs are welcome. You will get your own site with water, electricity, and paddock.

Grapevine Parks & Recreation Department Is Looking For Work Camping Couples

GRAPEVINE LAKE PARKSFront Gate Attendant (4) - Couples are needed to work on site at The Vineyards Campground & Cabins as part of a Team shift with other couples at the Front Gate.  Each couple works eight hours with some overlapping.  Responsibilities include handling on-line RV and Cabin reservations (Reservation Friend; Hercules preferred), disseminating local travel information, coordinating cabin cleanings, and monitoring of campground.   Must have excellent working knowledge of cash register and computer use (Excel, word, researching).  Great customer service skills with being Team players a must. 

Park Attendant (4) Couples are needed at two other Grapevine Lake park locations, Meadowmere and Rockledge Parks to work with other Team members in shifts.  Couples must be dependable, hard working with campground hosting experience preferred.  Duties include collecting daily fees, selling annual passes, monitoring park activities and opening and closing the park.  Positions have varied schedules, but will average 10 days a month per couple.  Must have excellent working knowledge of cash register and computer use (Excel, word, researching).  Great customer service skills record with being Team players is a must.   

The Vineyards is highly ranked with ARVC, Trailer Life, Texas Outside, and GuestRated and we are looking for excited Work Campers who appreciate our mission and that is - to provide great customer service to make great camping experiences.  Our Team enjoys working together, playing together, and quite often eating together! 

All positions come with a full service site, a laundry stipend, store discount, and a daily stipend rate per couple. We prefer at least a six month contract. Longer term contracts will be strongly considered.

Workamping Couple - Assistant Maintenance position and Housekeeper. We are located on the shores of Beautiful Canyon Lake.  Our resort has 88 RV sites and 10 Condos along with a Jr. Olympic pool, Adult pool, Clubhouse and Laundry.  We are just 40 miles north of San Antonio and 16 mi. west of New Braunfels, where Walmart and many stores and restaurants are located. 

The Assistant Maintenance person will spend time in the Texas sun doing landscaping, pool maintenance, some electric, plumbing whatever is needed.  This is a 40 hrs a week with 10 hrs toward your site.  The housekeeping position is to clean condos, bathrooms and our other facilities.  Also a 40 hrs a week with 10 hrs toward your site.  In addition to site you will receive free electric, propane, wi-fi, laundry stipend and both off same days to enjoy the surrounding areas.  Rate for 90 day probation is $8.50 an hr. then an increase according to workability and work ethics.

Camp Host Needed At The 2014 BP MS 150 Event

Multiple Sclerosis SocietyWe are looking for a Camp Host to support our event in April, 2014.

The Camp Host will be expected to greet & direct those showing up in an RV during the preparation of the largest cycling event in America, the BP MS 150.

The BP MS 150 is the largest fundraising cycling ride in America. This ride takes over 13,000 cyclists on a 180 mile ride from Houston to Austin. After riding 100 miles on Saturday April 12th, cyclist spend the night at the Fayette County Fairgrounds before continuing to Austin on Sunday. This event raises over 18 million dollars for the Multiple Sclerosis Society, and helps to fund cutting edge research to finding a cure for MS.

The week of April 7th to 14th, we will welcome a Volunteer Camp Host. This position is not paid hourly, however we will provide free hook up and free meals, VIP Shower, and event sponsored apparel.

Gillespie County Fair & Festivals AssociationThe purpose of the Gillespie County Fair & Festivals Association is to encourage, instruct, and promote the education of the youth of Gillespie County, especially in the area of agriculture.

The Gillespie County Fair and Festivals Association, www.gillespiefair.com, is accepting applications for Volunteer Campers. The GCFFA is a non-profit organization that maintains the Fairgrounds in Fredericksburg, Texas, where they host live pari-mutuel horse racing, the Gillespie County Fair, Fredericksburg PBR, and the GCFFA Scholarship Fest. In addition, the facilities are rented out for various events that include the Peddler Show, gun & knife shows, tractor pulls, antique shows, wild game dinners and more. The GCFFA is looking for campers that are willing to trade work for a free RV space. Campers will be expected to work three days a week doing any number of the following tasks: 

  • Sweeping
  • Mopping
  • Setting up and taking down tables and chairs
  • Cleaning of restrooms
  • Emptying trash cans
  • Cleaning of livestock stalls
  • Trash pick up
  • Flower bed maintenance
  • Office cleaning

Rock'n E RV ParkOne couple needed at Rock'n E RV Park, Coldspring, Texas (Work Camping Couple Needed One Hour N. of Houston) . We are currently looking for a work camping couple to start in Sept, and to work and stay as long as you like. Work in exchange for all hook ups and Wi-Fi. You would work 2-4 days in office and do yard work as needed. 

Office duties include, but are not limited to, answering phones, registering campers, and cleaning. Cleaning includes the two restrooms and showers, the laundry room, and the office. You would usually work two days in the office. Yard work is done on an as needed basis, with mowing, weeding, and helping with any other jobs that needs to be done. 

We have 43 sites, playground, volleyball, horseshoes, and miles of hiking trails. We are just an hour north of Houston. We sit on the edge of Sam Houston National forest. It is very quiet and peaceful here. We are just two miles from Lake Livingston, so you can go fishing on your days off.

Park Host Ambassadors:

Opportunity Description - Volunteer positions are needed year round to answer questions, help campers get settled, suggest things to do and places to go in the vicinity, and explain the campground regulations. They keep the campground neat, clean and attend to some minor repairs or maintenance as needed. Ambassadors represent the Corps to our visitors and need to have a positive friendly attitude and a willingness to work with the public.

Volunteers work a minimum of 20 hours per week and are provided a RV site during their commitment to our team.  Time commitments are flexible, but we prefer a commitment of 3-6 months.  All volunteers will be required to complete a background check and a volunteer application

Project Office Assistant:

Monday - Friday
Hours: 10:00 - 2:00 (if only one position filled)
8:00 - 12:00 - 1st shift (if two positions filled)
12:00 - 4:00 2nd shift (if two positions filled)

Primary Responsibilities: Provide hospitality and customer service to visitors, answering telephones, filing or other office tasks as needed.  Maintaining open communication with Rangers and Managers, passing on ideas for improvement gathered during daily contact with visitors.  All volunteers will be required to complete a background check and a volunteer application.
