We are looking for a Work Camper for a RV Park in Big Spring, TX. (couple or single). Starting mid-February or first part of March 2018 working through end of October (dates are negotiable). Work 20 hour per week in exchange for a full hook up site, which includes Cable TV, and Wi Fi. Work consists mainly of outdoor yard upkeep and some maintenance on equipment. Helping managers where ever you may be needed.  Office work would be answering phones, making reservations, accepting payments etc.…. With every other week-end off (Manager will train where needed).   Great position for retired or semi-retired couple.  One party is more than welcome to work outside the RV Park. Our park has 52 sites with primarily monthly residents.  There is a laundry and showers at the park. Working managers live on site. We are located approx. 5 miles from Wal Mart and 5.5 miles from HEB grocery store. Approx. 40 miles from Midland, a major city with plenty of shopping. Must have your own RV, 2008 or newer. What: Nature Center “park hosts”; assisting small, but talented and dedicated Team of employees and engaged volunteers, fulfill our mission over 340 days p.a. RV Pad: located on the 507 acre site, adjacent to the maintenance building (which includes washer/dryer and restroom/shower), with wifi connection; includes sewer, electricity, and non-potable water (potable water available in the visitor center)-on a quiet, remote section of the site, with 24 hr. access.  Trailers up to 30’ fit comfortably. Lake Houston Wilderness Park is now Seeking Camp Hosts In Texas

Lake Houston Wilderness Park (LHWP) is currently seeking camp hosts to live on site in this beautiful, lushly forested expanse of nearly 5,000 acres. The park is located four miles east of New Caney (approximately 30 miles north of Houston) off Hwy-59. This is not an RV park; only camp hosts can park RVs on the property. Lake Houston Wilderness Park is the only park in the department’s inventory that allows overnight camping. It offers a variety of outdoor learning experiences for people of all ages including: camping, hiking, trail running, mountain biking, canoeing, kayaking, birding, fishing, and horseback riding (visitors must bring own bikes, fishing equipment, watercraft, and horses). Camp hosts are not allowed to board horses at the park. Most of the park is heavily forested with beautiful trails which provide a perfect setting for photography, nature study, bird watching, and relaxing. Lake Houston Wilderness Park (LHWP) is currently seeking camp hosts to live on site in this beautiful, lushly forested expanse of nearly 5,000 acres. The park is located four miles east of New Caney (approximately 30 miles north of Houston) off Hwy-59. This is not an RV park; only camp hosts can park RVs on the property. Lake Houston Wilderness Park is the only park in the department’s inventory that allows overnight camping. It offers a variety of outdoor learning experiences for people of all ages including: camping, hiking, trail running, mountain biking, canoeing, kayaking, birding, fishing, and horseback riding (visitors must bring own bikes, fishing equipment, watercraft, and horses). Camp hosts are not allowed to board horses at the park. Most of the park is heavily forested with beautiful trails which provide a perfect setting for photography, nature study, bird watching, and relaxing.
