Assistant Manager Position for couple in Mission, Texas.  Immediate opening for year round on-site self-motivated couple to run the day-to-day operations of a 250+ “C” Mobile Home and RV Park.

Office needs a computer literate person with basic bookkeeping skills, excellent phone and customer service and the ability to problem solve.  Outside needs a hands on physically fit person to handle the maintenance, lawn care, pool and spa and general up keep of rentals and property. 

Busy season is winter with the off season being summer.  Compensation is full hookup site for your RV including electric and a monthly salary up to $1600 depending on skill set.

Government Canyon State Natural Area in San Antonio, Texas - Park Hosts Wanted For 2012

Canyon State Natura Area San Antonio, Texas

Government Canyon State Natural Area in San Antonio, TX seeks fun and spirited individuals/couples to spend at least two months as Park Hosts.  Previous experience is preferred.

Government Canyon State Natural Area is an approximately 11,588 acre karst preserve dedicated to the recharge of the Edwards Aquifer.  The Natural Area has over 40 miles of hiking and biking trails, Day Use Picnic Areas, and will soon have a public campground as well.

Park Hosts are to assist site staff with the day to day operations of Government Canyon State Natural Area.  Duties may include but are not limited to collecting entry fees from customers at a satellite fee station or the Natural Area store, opening the gate in the morning or closing the gate in the evening, routine cleaning, assisting with various maintenance projects from painting to building, and general customer service.
 
The Natural Area is currently only Open to the Public on Friday, Saturday, Sunday, and Monday and Closed to the Public on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday.

Hosts will be provided with a 50/30 Amp Full Hook-Up (Water/Sewer/Electric) at a semi-private site and have access to a free laundry facility and Wi-Fi internet in exchange for a minimum 32 hrs/wk per couple (or 16 hrs/wk per individual). 

Hosts are asked to work a minimum of two months and cannot stay longer than six months (no more than three months on first tour at Government Canyon).  Winter months fill-up fast but we usually have openings in the summer months.

 Bayview RV Resort Needs Kitchen Manager/Cook

Bayview RV Resort in Rockport, TX has an immediate opening for a kitchen manager/cook. This is a 20 hour per week workamper position which provides you with your site and a $50.00 per month credit toward your electric plus water and cable (depending on site chosen).  We are looking for someone who can start immediately and work through approximately April 15, 2012.

The kitchen manager plans meals, manages food purchasing and prepares, serves and cleans up after meals together with a robust volunteer group. Current routine weekly meal offerings include 1 breakfast, 1 hamburger/hotdog cookout, and 2 pot-luck dinners which sometimes include the provision by the kitchen staff of the main course.  There are also special occasion such as Valentines programs which include a meal.  Expansion of our present offerings would be welcomed.  This position coordinates directly with our activities staff.

Work Camper Needed At Watts RV Park

Watts RV Park is located outside of Gilmer Texas nestled in a country atmosphere, and we are in need of a work camper to work in our Park store and Grill.

In exchange for 12 hrs on Saturday and 12hrs on Sunday, opening and closing the store, stocking shelves, cashier, taking orders for the grill, and other misc. duties within the store you will receive your site fee with full hook ups water, sewer, and a credit of $50.00 towards the electric and a concrete slab for your trailer. You will also receive free trash pick up, WYFI, and full use of the facilities which include the club house with Satellite TV, pool table, dart boards, card tables, and book exchange. You can also fish in our three fishing lakes. There are also 24 hr showers and coin operated laundry facilities available. During the summer you can also enjoy our swimming pool horse shoes, and folly ball.

Work Camp at Rock’n E RV Park

We are welcoming couples and individuals to come to our park as Camp Workers.  We are a family owned and operated campground in East TX.  We have 43 FHU, pull-thru wooded/shaded RV spots on 72 acres of wooded land with miles of hiking trails.  This is not a paying position.

Camp Host Needed At Lake Cypress Springs

We are looking for a retired individual or couple to serve as Camp Host for Walleye Park located on beautiful Lake Cypress Springs near Mount Vernon, Texas. Position offers no pay; however, the Camp Host will be given a free campsite with full hookups in exchange for some work. Work duties would primarily be greeting campers, collecting fees, light maintenance, cleaning campsites and toilet facilities, etc.

Come Volunteer Host on The Gulf of  Mexico - Corpus Christi

If you like to fish, this is the place to be. You will be located a short walk from the Gulf and our fishing pier that is open all night for your use. There are great restaurants and much to do and explore in the local area. Minimum stay is 90 days but can be longer.

Work seven days, get the following seven days off. As a host you will have a FHU site and be required to be on call 24 hours per day during your seven days. During that week you will do 25 duty hours weekly per couple or single. Duties include greeting visitors, assisting guests to their sites, answering questions about the campground, base and local area, as well as general janitorial & cleaning of offices, restrooms, showers, club house and laundry rooms. On occasions you will assist with special social events held at the park.

We are looking for workers for the fall and winter season. This is an excellent opportunity to have the best of both worlds: first, the beautiful surroundings of the Gulf of Mexico, and second, the opportunity to interact with our wonderful guests.

Come to Top of the Hill RV Resort to help us provide our guests with an experience that they will remember.

An EXPERIENCED COUPLE is preferred, however we sometimes can accept singles as well. We currently have a position available to start immediately. We also have some additional positions available for Spring and Summer.

Each work camper would agree to work 7 hours per day, 2 days a week for a couple or 4 days a week for an individual, for a combined total of 28 hours per week (7 hrs/day x 2 days/week x 2 people = 28 hrs/wk for couple or 7 hrs/day x 4 days/week x 1 person = 28 hrs/wk for an individual). The 7 hours shifts will be assigned monthly and will include 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM and 1:00 PM to 8 PM shifts. Compensation includes a full hookup site with utilities including propane deliveries, laundry, and a 10% General Store discount in exchange for 28 hours per week. Although a telephone hookup is provided, telephone services are not included. If extra shifts are available and you volunteer to work the extra shifts, the pay is $7.00 per hour. As noted below, the value of your site will be excluded from your gross income for federal tax purposes. Additionally, Top of the Hill RV Resort pays a $250.00 per person bonus for committing to and completing a full year of service.

Keep in mind that outside maintenance is hot work in the summer. The typical duties include:

Providing our guests with an experience beyond their expectations!

Taking reservations, cashiering, stocking shelves, taking inventory, and preparing lists for goods needed, keeping the General Store, cabins, and other facilities clean.

Assisting guests checking in/out of the resort, computer based registration plus general administrative duties.

Escorting guests to their sites, mowing, trimming, cleaning the pool, and watering the grounds.

General maintenance duties, including: resort cleanup, trash pickup, restroom maintenance, various projects as needed.

Volunteering with special events: hot dog roasts, pancake breakfasts, etc.

The following information is included per IRS rules on lodging/compensation (irc1.119 (b)): In order to properly perform your duties, you are required to accept employer provided accommodations as defined elsewhere in this agreement. The value of the accommodations will not be included in your gross income.
