We are looking or workers to assist us in the running of a convenience store and
RV park for this summer. We have a large convenience store, gas station along with a 40
unit RV park. We need help in the store with cashiering, and deli cook. This position
would also required making expressos, scooping ice cream, taking reservations and checking
people in the for the RV park.
We provide a FHU site, with all utilities, except TV, plus a salary for any hours worked.

Mount Rainier National Park employs approximately 90 permanent employees.
Between May and September, the peak visitation season, up to an additional 150 temporary
employees are hired. There are significant numbers of temporary openings available during
the peak season, May through September; primarily laborers, maintenance workers,
biological technicians, entrance station/campground staff (referred to as "visitor
use assistants") and park rangers. We also have a limited number of openings for
clerical staff and trades and crafts professionals. United States citizenship is
required for all positions.

Thank you for your interest in working at Mt. Rainier. Guest Services operates
the hotels, restaurants, and retail outlets in Mt. Rainier National Park. Employment at
Mt. Rainier is an excellent opportunity to work in an area of pristine mountain meadows,
streams, canyons, lakes, rivers, old-growth forests, and glaciers. This is a wilderness
location over 2 hours away from any city. It is important that the people we hire are
"outdoor" people as hiking and camping are the main off-time activities
available.
Applicants must have a clean cut appearance and a people-oriented attitude. Housing is
dorm-style with shared rooms and bathrooms. Room and board is a direct payroll deduction
amounting to $70 per week. Meals are taken in employee dining rooms and dorm rooms are
located an easy walk from operations. Employee Recreational Vehicle sites are located
outside the park with a shuttle service to and from work sites.
