Oil Field Gate Guard Jobs
Work Campers Oil Field Gate Guard Jobs
Many RV'ers have found that working as a gate guards at oil field
sites is another way to earn a little extra money. As we have never
participated in this type of work, the only information that is offered
below is second hand.
First, be aware that most companies are looking for couples or a team
of two since the job usually requires a 24/7 commitment for varying
lengths of time depending on the company. The state where you work
will usually require you to take an examination and pay for a security
license which may, or may not be reimbursed by your employer.
I would advise that you do your due diligence in regard to this
occupation, and ask many questions of each specific employer that
interests you. Some people have reported great satisfaction with the
job, and others not so much satisfaction.
