The campground is located on the Au Gres River which connects to Saginaw Bay & Lake Huron. Our main clientele are seasonal walleye fisherman & retirees. This modern campground features 33 on river sites, 50 off river sites (both having water / electric), & 26 off river full hook up sites. Attached to the campgound property is the Au Gres City which features ball fields, basketball & volleyball courts, and 2 pavilions. Hiawatha National Campgrounds Is Looking To Fill Host Campground

Positions For the 2018 Season In Michigan $$

We take care of 6 campgrounds in the Hiawatha National Forest in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. You must love people and the outdoors and have be able to work without much supervision. The campgrounds are owned by the Federal Forest, and we operate under a permit. Four campgrounds have electricity and two do not. We supply a golf cart, a place to park your camper, hook up if available, and monthly salary. Sun and Fun is also included. You must clean up the sites after campers leave, mow grass, collect the money from the self- pay station, keep records, post reservations, clean bathrooms and help the visitors. The amount of hours vary depending on the time of year and which campground. We try to place people based on what they what to do and how busy they want to be. Bay View is located on Lake Superior on one of the Great Lakes. It does not have utilities. It has 4 vault toilets and very little grass to mow. 24 sites. Monocle Lake is on a inland lake it has water and electricity. It has 8 vault toilets and not a lot of grass to mow. 42 sites. Good boating and fishing. Soldier Lake does not have electricity. It has 12 vault toilets. It has a lot of grass to mow. 45 sites Lake Michigan is on a Great Lake, 8 vault toilets and fair amount of grass. 33 sites Carp River has 4 vault toilets, water and electricity , fair amount of grass, 24 sites and it is on a good fishing river. Brevoort Lake is a large inland lake with good fishing and boating. We try to keep 2 host at this location. Water, electricity on both and one has sewer hook up also. It has flush bathrooms and 70 sites, a large amount of grass to mow. We are open from May to Oct 15. Days off are depending on the campground and the time of year. You will learn your campground and know when you can take off for the entire day. We would like you at the campground on the weekends and Holidays. If you need several days off in a row we will work with you to fill those days. A few hours at time is never a problem. You are your own Boss. Jackson County Parks Is Seeking Volunteer Campground Hosts For Pleasant

Lake And Swains Lake Campgrounds In Michigan

In exchange for assisting the campground staff with duties such as helping campers find their campsites, answering camper questions, performing light park maintenance duties, and providing a watchful eye, campground hosts enjoy waived camping fees. Both individuals and couples may apply for volunteer positions that begin as early as Memorial Day weekend and last through Labor Day weekend. Volunteer hosts must be 18 years of age and provide their own camping equipment, food and other personal items. Hosts are screened and interviewed by park staff and selected based on familiarity with the park system, camping experience, availability and knowledge of the area. Big Prairie Township Parks are located in Newayo County, Michigan on the Muskegon River. Hardy Dam is the earth- filled embankment and power plant that backs up these waters. The river encompasses 4,000 acres of water and over fifty (50) miles of shoreline. All of the shoreline is owned by Consumers Energy Power Co which ensures that the shoreline be free of homes and industry, and maintains a natural environment. Camping,Boating, Swimming, Fishing, Hiking, Biking and Nature are the focus of the area. We are looking for outgoing, friendly Camp Hosts for two of our parks Oxbow and Big Bend. Below are the criteria needed to fill these positions: 1. Hours - Work 7 nights in a two week period, plus Holiday weekends. Hours may vary 2. Holiday Camping Resort Seeking Work Camper Couple

Looking for a work camper couple that owns a camper to reside and work here at our family campground. Good job for a retired couple that likes to keep active, but still have some time to enjoy life. Duties would be in assisting campground operation. Maintenance and office experience a plus. Must enjoy customer service and be friendly and outgoing. Campground open from mid-April until the end of October.   We’re looking for a couple that would enjoy working here at the campground on a seasonally returning basis. We need help with our day-to-day operation. There is maintaining and opening the pool every day from Memorial until Labor Day. We have 2 bathhouses that have to be cleaned, touched up etc. many times a day. There are other workers employed here too. Our office is manned from 9 am to 9 pm daily. This job requires answering the phone, taking reservations, signing campers in when they arrive. We have a small store where we sell a little bit of everything that’s part of this too. Sand and Stars Resort Seeking Work Camper

We have a small resort on South Manistique Lake, 2 miles south of Curtis, Michigan.  Curtis is located centrally from sites such as Mackinac Island,  Soo Locks, Pictured Rocks, Fayette, Seney Wildlife Refuge and many more Upper Peninsula sites of interest.  South Manistique Lake covers 4,000 acres and is great fishing for bass, blue gill, perch, walleye, and pike. Our resort consists of 5 cabins, 4 motel rooms and a vacation home.  It is very private and has 180 feet of sandy beach.  We also rent pontoon, pleasure and fishing boats or guests can dock their own watercraft. We are looking for someone to host our resort.
