Jensen’s RV Park & Motel is a private, family-owned business. We have 14 motel rooms and 124 RV sites. We plan to add cabins and other accommodations. The RV Park is open April 1st until November 1st. Seasonal campers stay from April 15th to October 15th. The Motel is open May 1st until October 1st. This is approximately a part-time, multi-task position. We are open May 15, 2020 through September 13, 2020. We have 17 primitive sites available for campers and one full hook-up site for our Host Couple (Couple with an RV is a requirement), a pavilion with a modern kitchen and 2 modern flush bathrooms that each have 1 shower/1 toilet. A washing machine is available for our Host’s convenience. Compensation for responsibly fulfilling the following duties for the season includes the free RV full hook-up site and $325 per month (pro-rated for ½ months). When the days get busy this may need to be done twice a day. Monitor beach & park areas. Keep them clean of litter and animal waste. Redirect pet owners off beach to designated pet area. Empty garbage cans as needed. Handle sale of firewood (if available). Maintain a good rapport with campers, boaters & other park visitors. Monitor the boat wash to assure that boaters are using it. Hiawatha National Campgrounds Is Looking To Fill Host Campground

Hiawatha National Campgrounds is located in the Hiawatha National Forest Campgrounds in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. You must love people and the outdoors and have be able to work without much supervision. The campgrounds are owned by the Federal Forest, and we operate under a permit. Four campgrounds have electricity and two do not. We supply a golf cart, a place to park your camper, hook up if available, and a small monthly salary. Sun and Fun is also included. You must clean up the sites after campers leave, mow grass, collect the money from the self-pay station, keep records, post reservations, clean bathrooms and help the visitors. The amount of hours vary depending on the time of year and which campground. We try to place people based on what they what to do and how busy they want to be. Below are the campgrounds that we take care of. Bay View is located on Lake Superior on one of the Great Lakes. It does not have utilities. It has 4 vault toilets and very little grass to mow. 24 sites. We provide solar panels and a generator for you to use at this location. Monocle Lake is on a inland lake it has water and electricity. Septic system is planned to be installed this spring for the host. It has 8 vault toilets and not a lot of grass to mow. 42 sites. Good boating and fishing. Soldier Lake does not have electricity. It has 12 vault toilets. It has a lot of grass to mow. 45 sites. we provide solar panel and a generator for you to use at this location. It does have water that is pumped by a solar well. Lake Michigan is on a Great Lake, 8 vault toilets and fair amount of grass. 33 sites. It has a busy picnic area that you also need to tag cars to pay fee. Full hook up with; water, electricity and black water holding tank is included. Carp River has 4 vault toilets, water and electricity , fair amount of grass, 20 sites and it is on a good fishing river. The host has water, electricity. A septic holding system will be put in by the Forest Service this spring for the host. It is the least busy campground leaving the most amount of free time for the host. Brevoort Lake is a large inland lake with good fishing and boating. We try to keep 2 host at this location. Water, electricity on both and one has sewer hook up also. It has flush bathrooms and 70 sites, a large amount of grass to mow. We need a second set of Host here to mow grass, weed whip, clean bathrooms, trim brush, rent boats, clean fire pits. You would work with the other Host who are staying on at this campgrounds. We also are looking at putting a person on standby at Brevoort with a campsite but no pay. You would get a campsite with electric and water. There would be very few hours involved in this position unless a host position opened up and then you would be transferred to the location and paid the wage of that location. We are open from May to Oct 15 With some campgrounds closing the end of September. It is definitely a positive if you are willing to change from one campground to another if the situation requires it. Days off are depending on the campground and the time of year. You will learn your campground and know when you can take off for the entire day. We would like you at the campground on the weekends and Holidays. Big Prairie Township Parks are located in Newayo County, Michigan on the Muskegon River. Hardy Dam is the earth- filled embankment and power plant that backs up these waters. All of the shoreline is owned by Consumers Energy Power Co which ensures that the shoreline be free of homes and industry, and maintains a natural environment. Sand and Stars Resort Seeking Work Camper

We have a small resort on South Manistique Lake, 2 miles south of Curtis, Michigan. Curtis is located centrally from sites such as Mackinac Island, Soo Locks, Pictured Rocks, Fayette, Seney Wildlife Refuge and many more Upper Peninsula sites of interest. South Manistique Lake covers 4,000 acres and is great fishing for bass, blue gill, perch, walleye, and pike. Our resort consists of 5 cabins, 4 motel rooms and a vacation home. It is very private and has 180 feet of sandy beach. We also rent pontoon, pleasure and fishing boats or guests can dock their own watercraft. We are looking for someone to host our resort. The biggest job would be greeting guests, cutting the grass and cleaning the fish shed. All cleaning, maintenance, etc is done by us. We just really would like someone to be on site to meet and greet and answer questions. We both work and it is very hard for us to be on site. For this we can offer a place to park your RV. Jensen’s RV Park & Motel is a private, family- owned business. We have 14 motel rooms and 124 RV sites. We plan to add cabins and other accommodations. The RV Park is open April 1st until November 1st. Seasonal campers stay from April 15th to October 15th. The Motel is open May 1st until October 1st. We have 17 primitive sites available for campers and one full hook-up site for our Host Couple (Couple with an RV is a requirement), a pavilion with a modern kitchen and 2 modern flush bathrooms that each have 1 shower/1 toilet. A washing machine is available for our Host’s convenience. Empty garbage cans as needed. Handle sale of firewood (if available). Maintain a good rapport with campers, boaters & other park visitors. Monitor the boat wash to assure that boaters are using it. Hiawatha National Campgrounds is located in the Hiawatha National Forest Campgrounds in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. You must love people and the outdoors and have be able to work without much supervision. The campgrounds are owned by the Federal Forest, and we operate under a permit. Four campgrounds have electricity and two do not. We supply a golf cart, a place to park your camper, hook up if available, and a small monthly salary. Sun and Fun is also included. You must clean up the sites after campers leave, mow grass, collect the money from the self-pay station, keep records, post reservations, clean bathrooms and help the visitors. The amount of hours vary depending on the time of year and which campground. We try to place people based on what they what to do and how busy they want to be. Below are the campgrounds that we take care of. Bay View is located on Lake Superior on one of the Great Lakes. It does not have utilities. It has 4 vault toilets and very little grass to mow. 24 sites. We provide solar panels and a generator for you to use at this location. Monocle Lake is on a inland lake it has water and electricity. Septic system is planned to be installed this spring for the host. It has 8 vault toilets and not a lot of grass to mow. 42 sites. Good boating and fishing. Soldier Lake does not have electricity. It has 12 vault toilets. It has a lot of grass to mow. 45 sites. we provide solar panel and a generator for you to use at this location. It does have water that is pumped by a solar well. Lake Michigan is on a Great Lake, 8 vault toilets and fair amount of grass. 33 sites. It has a busy picnic area that you also need to tag cars to pay fee. Full hook up with; water, electricity and black water holding tank is included. Carp River has 4 vault toilets, water and electricity , fair amount of grass, 20 sites and it is on a good fishing river. The host has water, electricity. A septic holding system will be put in by the Forest Service this spring for the host. It is the least busy campground leaving the most amount of free time for the host. Brevoort Lake is a large inland lake with good fishing and boating. We try to keep 2 host at this location. Water, electricity on both and one has sewer hook up also. It has flush bathrooms and 70 sites, a large amount of grass to mow. We need a second set of Host here to mow grass, weed whip, clean bathrooms, trim brush, rent boats, clean fire pits. You would work with the other Host who are staying on at this campgrounds. We also are looking at putting a person on standby at Brevoort with a campsite but no pay. You would get a campsite with electric and water. There would be very few hours involved in this position unless a host position opened up and then you would be transferred to the location and paid the wage of that location. We are open from May to Oct 15 With some campgrounds closing the end of September. It is definitely a positive if you are willing to change from one campground to another if the situation requires it. Days off are depending on the campground and the time of year. You will learn your campground and know when you can take off for the entire day. We would like you at the campground on the weekends and Holidays. We have a small resort on South Manistique Lake, 2 miles south of Curtis, Michigan. Curtis is located centrally from sites such as Mackinac Island, Soo Locks, Pictured Rocks, Fayette, Seney Wildlife Refuge and many more Upper Peninsula sites of interest. South Manistique Lake covers 4,000 acres and is great fishing for bass, blue gill, perch, walleye, and pike. Our resort consists of 5 cabins, 4 motel rooms and a vacation home.
