Two Rivers RV Park & Campground Is Looking For Campground Host In

Montana $$

Two Rivers RV Park & Campground has 25 full hook-up RV sites that include: water, septic and electricity. There is a large area for Tent Camping and a couple small cabins that are rentable, plus multiple community fire rings located throughout the property. Other facilities present on the grounds at the RV Park include: shower acilities/ restroom, laundry, propane fill, RV dump station, volleyball court and numerous hiking/biking trails. The RV Park is owned and operated by Avista, who owns and operates the Noxon Rapids Dam and CabinetGorge Dam and owns and operates the majority of the land around the two reservoirs and multiple recreation sites and campgrounds. The RV Park is managed by the Recreation & Land Use Specialist who is employed by Avista. Duties: The host agrees to serve as a front-line customer service representative for Avista at Two Rivers RV Park & Campground. Hosts live among other campers in order to provide a personal touch and to assist with the needs of campground customers. Hosts must become familiar with local points of interest, such as the Noxon Reservoir and the Cabinet Gorge Reservoir. In addition to all of the other recreational opportunities in the area and be knowledgeable of the location of services that may be requested by campers such as grocery facilities and gas stations. Hosts shall assist campers by providing information about the RV Park, answer questions, check guests in and out and handle money. Hosts will also perform maintenance duties, grounds-keeping tasks, propane filling and janitorial services around the RV Park and its facilities, as well as make minor repairs, depending on the experience of the person. Other duties may be assigned according to the needs of the RV Park and the skills of the hosts. Hosts are expected to enforce the rules of the RV Park, such as: guests checking out on time, quiet hours, dogs on leash and other posted rules. If a host does not feel comfortable enforcing such a rule, they should document all the information they can on the incident, contact local law enforcement and notify the Recreation & Land Use Specialist. If a host does enforce a rule, they are expected to do it in a courteous and respectful manner. Hosts must set an example by being model campers and practice good housekeeping at all times and observe all RVPark rules. Hosts will be required to check guest in and out and manage reservations through the Campground Management Software. They will also be handling money from guest, as well as helping out with special events and other assigned tasks as needed. Duration & Days of Service: RV Park Host will be required to be present and on duty when scheduled and from May 1st through September 30th. During the summer season (May 1st through September 30th) there will be an additional host assisting with duties and the tentative schedule will be: Mon 8 am – 8 pm 1st host off Tue 8 am – 8 pm 1st host off Wed 8 am – 8 pm 2nd host off Thurs 8 am – 8 pm 2nd host off Fri 8 am – 8 pm Split shifts of 6 hours each Sat 8 am – 8 pm Split shifts of 6 hours each Sun 8 am – 8 pm Split shifts of 6 hours each Consideration: The host will receive a full hook up site to park a camper or RV at the Park. The site will include: electric, water, septic and propane (as needed). The host will be reimbursed for their travel and expenses during the camping season in the beginning of the summer and at the end of the summer. They will receive $1,500 mid-May and another $1,500 at the end of September. Total compensation will equal $3,000 if all terms and conditions of the agreement are met. Host understands and agrees that they are, at all times, an independent contractor, and not an employee of Avista, and shall abide by all applicable laws and regulations. Live and work on the spectacular American Prairie Reserve welcoming visitors and maintaining campground operations at our newest visitor facility, the Mars Vista Campground. Campground hosts are instrumental in APR’s mission to create a grasslands wildlife reserve for public enjoyment. In addition to orienting and monitoring visitors from near and far in one of Montana’s most beautiful locations, hosts are responsible for day-to-day operation and oversight of the campground located along US 191 just north of the Missouri River, the campground is modeled on a KOA facility with a bath house, 4 cabins, 12 RV sites and 8 tent sites. Hosts must have their own RV and are provided an RV site with 30A and 50 A services, onsite dumping station, and potable water tanks. Work hours are typically 8am-11am and 6pm-9pm daily with two days off per week and an average of 30 work hours per week. We invite you to spend the summer/early fall in the beautiful Mission Valley of Montana at Goat Peak Ranch. We are 15 miles from Flathead Lake. Head on up to Glacier National Park, less than two hours away, for hiking, fishing, and exploring. The Bob Marshall Wilderness is just over the pass, an hour and half drive. World-class flyfishing is a short drive. We're about an hour from Missoula and an hour and 15 minutes from Kalispell. The spectacular Mission Mountains are right out our back door. Last fall we bought 10 beautiful acres and an old log house in the Mission Valley. We purchased the property with the intent of starting a non-profit retreat center for men with cancer and their families. Goat Peak will offer folks a place to get away from the everyday grind of being a cancer patient. We want them to experience the healing environment, quiet setting and majestic views of our little slice of paradise. We are looking for a couple to help us fulfill our dream of developing the retreat center. Seasonal Help Is Needed At Paul Ranch Montana Near Glacier National Park

This is an opportunity to combine work/play in Glacier National Park!! I have a small Ranch (one hundred sixty acres) on the east side of Glacier Park. Full time caretakers live on the property, manage the vacation rental business, and maintain the property, buildings and equipment. Seasonal help is needed for housekeeping, landscaping, maintenance. In the planning is expanding the operation into a self-sustaining, organic enterprise: market garden, feeder steers, chickens. There are currently four Vacation Rentals on the property (three homes and a historic bunkhouse) and a lakeshore cabin for day use minutes from the Ranch. The Vacation Rentals are operated seasonally but expanding into the fall/winter. There are presently seven alpaca and one guard llama on the property that are sheared annually and their fiber processed by a mill. Within reason, your horse(s) would be welcome, pasture and water provided. If you don't have your own RV, I would provide a twenty-seven ft. travel trailer for housing. I would provide utilities, salary and a seasonal pass to Glacier National Park. The position is forty (or more) hours per week, if you are a couple the hours would be shared. Work hours scheduled are dependent on guest reservations; time off may not be on consecutive days. The area is very rural; wildlife abounds and the setting is exceptional: lots of peace and quiet, exceptional hiking and photography opportunities. This is an opportunity to combine work/play in Glacier National Park!! I have a small Ranch (one hundred sixty acres) on the east side of Glacier Park. Full time caretakers live on the property, manage the vacation rental business, and maintain the property, buildings and equipment. Seasonal help is needed for housekeeping, landscaping, maintenance. In the planning is expanding the operation into a self-sustaining, organic enterprise: market garden, feeder steers, chickens. There are currently four Vacation Rentals on the property (three homes and a historic bunkhouse) and a lakeshore cabin for day use minutes from the Ranch. The Vacation Rentals are operated seasonally but expanding into the fall/winter. There are presently seven alpaca and one guard llama on the property that are sheared annually and their fiber processed by a mill. Within reason, your horse(s) would be welcome, pasture and water provided. If you don't have your own RV, I would provide a twenty-seven ft. travel trailer for housing. I would provide utilities, salary and a seasonal pass to Glacier National Park. The position is forty (or more) hours per week, if you are a couple the hours would be shared. Work hours scheduled are dependent on guest reservations; time off may not be on consecutive days. The area is very rural; wildlife abounds and the setting is exceptional: lots of peace and quiet, exceptional hiking and photography opportunities. The Ranch is twelve miles from Glacier Park, three miles from the Canadian Border, beautiful golf courses in the area including Waterton National Park. There are good restaurants in the summer season (but everything pretty much closes down for the winter) and world class, blue ribbon fishing in lakes and streams. Qualifications include being reliable and trustworthy, being drug-free, having a good work ethic and being a self-starter, knowledge of the Ranching lifestyle, experience in Ranch maintenance, livestock, hospitality services, knowledge and experience in landscaping, gardening and groundskeeping. We hire 20-25 people for the summer season. Our cafe seats 150-160 people, and our campground has over 100 campsites. We hire students for cooks, food servers and campground work. Johnson's provides on-the-job training for all positions. The work is very demanding, both physically and mentally. Employees must be able to work well under under pressure and have a positive attitude toward the public. Johnson's has an outstanding reputation, and we expect our employees to maintain that standard. We also hire older couples with their own RV who wish to work and stay for the summer in our campground.
