Above and Beyond River Resort Has Several Positions

Available In Texas Hill Country

Calling any and all workcampers interested in a volunteer position in the heart of the beautiful Texas Hill Country. Above and Beyond River Resort has several positions available to individuals who would like to be in a gorgeous spot by the cool spring-fed waters of the South Llano River for the summer. Swim, fish, kayak, hike, birdwatch, gaze at the night sky, take in nature, watch deer, motorcycle on famous scenic trails, or just relax. Explore caves, forts, charming old-time downtowns , great shopping, culture and many of the other activities and places which surround our serene campground. We are a small seasonal park, and we're growing to meet demand. Summer is largely vacationers and families seeking river/summer-time fun -- small-town parades, street dances, music-fests, rodeos, car shows, July 4th celebrations with great fireworks and many, many happy and returning guests. We excel at outstanding customer service with great reviews to prove it. This is a very festive time and a great place to be. Positions are available in reservations, housekeeping, handyman/woman, grounds-keeping, social media, tube rentals, event coordinating, as well as getting to tend to the animals in the small petting zoo. We have a few cabins, a bunkhouse, a banquet hall, and 15 full hook-up pull-through sites which are all 30/50 amp and big enough for rock-star tour buses and entourage (we have had a celebrity or two). Big Rig guests reserve our long pull-thru's for overnight stops without having to disconnect. We also have a large, shady tent-camping under the canopies of majestic Pecan trees – all along a crystal clear, swimmable river. Our air is perfumed with the fragrance of riverside Sycamore trees. Volunteers are wanted for Summer, and those who wish to stay into Fall and future seasons will love the mild winter climate and a springtime covered in bluebonnets and wildflowers here in Junction, Texas. There are advancement opportunities for those who have enjoyed the summer with us as well as those who are interested in management. Long term possibilities exist for all positions. We love dogs and volunteers of all ages. We can also accommodate volunteers with horses.
