Antelope Island State Park, in northern Utah, is looking for up to three (3) camp hosts or individuals for our brand new camp loop. The loop has 40 sites, 5 of which are reservable tiny houses. Incumbents in this volunteer position perform 20 hours per week for occupancy of a full hookup campsite. Duties include customer service, camper check in and assistance, on-site presence, cleaning of designated sites and restrooms, other custodial duties, litter and safety patrol of public areas. Additional duties may include assistance in the visitor center, Historic Fielding Garr Ranch, assisting the Park Naturalist with programming and other opportunities. Must be available minimally Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays and after hours as needed. Friends of Cedar Mesa is seeking long-term volunteers who would like to help protect and steward Bears Ears National Monument and other public lands in San Juan County, UT. Volunteer work includes assisting visitors in our Education Center (approximately 60% of your time, more in the summer), hiking to popular local archaeological sites along Comb Ridge and in Cedar Mesa and educating visitors on how to “visit with respect“, and joining service projects and public land monitoring projects. This volunteer work requires a moderate to more strenuous activity level, and includes being outdoors in all seasons. We’re seeking people with good communication and interpersonal skills to provide information in a friendly, positive manner. You should be flexible, self-reliant, independent, and willing to pitch in on whatever task is needed as everyone in a small non-profit wears many hats. For your hard work, FCM will provide you with a level RV site with full hook ups, and wi-fi. You must provide your own RV or trailer as alternative housing is not available. You are welcome to bring your pet. If you choose to hike with your dog you must follow the BLM leash guidelines in the area. Bryce Canyon National Park Needs Several Camp Hosts For Early Season

Several early-season camp host positions are now available at Bryce Canyon National Park. Volunteers work a 3 day on/3 day off schedule leaving adequate time to explore the Park and surrounding area. Hosts would start ASAP and be on-site until July 15. In exchange for 32+ hours a week of volunteer work hosts are provided a full service site for an RV/camper (electric, propane, water, and sewer). Responsibilities include camper check in, visitor education, and general campground/ recreation management duties. After 250 hours of volunteer service hosts are provided with a Volunteer Pass. This volunteer work requires a moderate to more strenuous activity level, and includes being outdoors in all seasons. We’re seeking people with good communication and interpersonal skills to provide information in a friendly, positive manner. You should be flexible, self-reliant, independent, and willing to pitch in on whatever task is needed as everyone in a small non-profit wears many hats.
