Camp site has RV Hook-up to electricity, septic and well water for medium size RV’s on the Escalante River at Calf Creek Ranch, Utah. We welcome Work Campers intermittent (April- May and September-October) or long term (April-October) located on an inholding within the Grand Staircase Escalante National Monument, in Canyon Country on Scenic Byway 12 All American Road between Bryce Canyon and Capitol Reef National Parks. Gateway location for those who want to be surrounded by red and white sandstone canyon walls and stream side cottonwood trees in the heart of austere grandeur and solitude with more wild places to explore than can be found in a lifetime. We provide utilities in exchange for 2 hours a day per person (couples preferred, for tending an orchard, garden, greenhouse and upkeep). Work Campers with a green thumb who successfully help plant, water and weed are eligible to crop share 50/50 in the harvest during the season. Water system is on timers so days off okay. Additional paid hours and additional months may be available for those with skills. No smokers. No partiers. Positive attitude, friendly, respectful, clean appearance and clean living habits only. We want to be good neighbors with six other property owners of Calf Creek Ranch. About Calf Creek Ranch: Elevation 5,200 feet. Located 15 miles west of Escalante, Utah, Population 750 and 15 miles Southeast of Boulder, Utah, Population 250. Kiva Koffehouse is close-by with wireless internet and phone service open 6 days/week serving a delectable lunch/brunch menu. Spring and Fall are exceptionally lovely. Summers are in the upper 90’s with dry heat or monsoon thunderstorms starting up in mid July thru September. AC recommended in June July August as temperatures can reach 100 F. The grove of legacy cottonwood trees at the property provide welcome shade, however, it is important to stay hydrated and wear sun protection in the high desert. Winters are chilly but mostly sunny. Beaver Creek Lodge is located in Northern Utah. The lodge is surrounded by the Cache National Forest, 27 miles east of Logan and 13 miles west of Garden City on Hwy 89 in Logan Canyon.  During the summer months, Beaver Creek Lodge offers room rentals, lodge rentals (family reunions), horseback riding, and UTV side-by-side rentals. Position: On-site Night Manager/ Camp Host May 15th – October 15th Wage:  $2,000/month May 15-August 15, October 1-15. $3,000/month August 16-September 30. Housing:  A room in the Lodge for one to two people. The room includes a queen bed, refrigerator, microwave, flat screen TV with satellite, Wi-Fi, access to laundry facilities, and private bathroom with shower/jetted tub. Bryce Canyon National Park Needs Several Camp Hosts For Early Season

Positions

Several early-season camp host positions are now available at Bryce Canyon National Park. Volunteers work a 3 day on/3 day off schedule leaving adequate time to explore the Park and surrounding area. Hosts would start ASAP and be on-site until July 15. In exchange for 32+ hours a week of volunteer work hosts are provided a full service site for an RV/camper (electric, propane, water, and sewer). Responsibilities include camper check in, visitor education, and general campground/ recreation management duties. After 250 hours of volunteer service hosts are provided with a Volunteer Pass. Camphosts Greet park visitors and provide information regarding the park and surrounding areas. Collect user fees. Assist in the maintenance, cleaning and general upkeep of the campground. Oversee campground activities to deter any vandalism from occurring. Most of our parks have full hookups for campground hosts in exchange for 30 or more hours a week of volunteer efforts.
