We are a member-owned 340 site private campground in the Wisconsin Dells area currently in need of an on-site year-round camp host. The position offers an hourly salary along with on- site camp host house and utilities. The host will serve as the “face” of Camp Delton Club and the central lodge. You must be a “people person” with strong communication skills and the ability to problem-solve. Responsibilities to include: Guest Interaction Serve as the “face and voice” of the campground Staff reception desk, monitor entrance gate, check-in of members and guests Act as a communications conduit between members, guests, the board of directors and the grounds staff Participation in scheduled camp activities Occasional drive-through of the park to answer questions, accommodate members’ needs Lodge Supervision Hiring, training, scheduling and reviewing of lodge reception desk staff Supervision of security cameras, pool and game room Schedule vendor maintenance work: gate, computers, phones, printers, etc. Time clock punch verification and corrections Lodge Retail Sales Cashiering, register and petty cash maintenance for retail items sold in lodge Credit card processing Oversee daily reconciliation of register Periodic inventory of lodge retail goods On-site emergency contact and security Nightly drive-through of camp for safety rounds Point of emergency contact outside of office hours In exchange we offer: 1. This is a seasonal job for Fountain Lake RV Park beginning April 27, 2019 and ending October 5, 2019.  For 24 hours/week you will receive a full hook-up site (30 or 50 AMP) and utilities for the season. You will be responsible for 24 hours of coverage in and around the clubhouse at Fountain Lake RV Park, Inc. The hours will consist of office hours involving manning the office, cleaning of the clubhouse, clubhouse bathrooms, and laundry building. The office will be open 7 days a week and the hours will be split with our other Workamper couple or volunteer hosts. The office hours will be 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM with a 1 hour lunch break. We are looking for  seasonal Camp Hosts starting May through October. Camp Host Duties: Set an example by being a model camper practicing good housekeeping and by observing all rules and regulations. Advise, assist and inform campers of rules, local Lake Geneva attractions, and the Wisconsin State Park system. Assist campers in locating their reserved campsites. Help to keep the campground presentable by picking up litter, performing light maintenance and housekeeping chores such as sweeping and stocking the bathrooms and mowing. Sell firewood Fridays and Saturdays from 4pm-9pm, and Sunday through Wednesday "as needed." Keep track of arrivals and departures by managing site post slips. Clean up campsites after campers have checked out. Help keep the beach clean by picking up any trash. Hours: Camp hosts are expected to be available on weekends. Fridays and Sundays are the busiest days. Camp hosts need to able to commit to a minimum working 5 days a week and 3 hours each day. Dells TimberLand Campground is looking for that special someone to join our team, Dells TimberLand is a small, family type campground located in South Central Wisconsin, just north of Wisconsin Dells.
