Marsh Haven Nature Center Is Looking For Volunteers Starting Spring 2021 In

Marsh Haven Nature Center, Waupun Wisconsin. This is a 46- acre private, non-profit environmental education facility with nature center, overnight bunkhouse and tent camping accommodations, hiking trails, and educational programs. Marsh Haven Nature Center is located adjacent to the Horicon National Wildlife Refuge and the Horicon Marsh, a Wetland of International Importance and the largest freshwater cattail marsh in the US. Over 300 different species of birds have been seen in the area, so it is a prime birding location. Nearby canoeing/kayaking in the Horicon Marsh State Wildlife Area and miles of hiking and biking trails. Volunteer should be comfortable speaking to the public, outgoing, energetic, professional, enjoy meeting new people and physically able to conduct light maintenance duties. Duties are flexible but could include upkeep of visitor facilities, staffing visitor center, assisting with public events, and performing maintenance duties such as trail work, general cleanup, and landscaping, - weekend work required. Season runs April 13-December 6. Looking for volunteers during peak visitor time of May 1 – Labor Day. Timeframe commitment is flexible. Required: 20-30 hours/week. Fountain Lake RV Park Looking For A Friendly Workamper Couple To Camp

Host For The 2021 Season In Wisconsin

Compensation: FHU Only (you will receive a 1099) This is a seasonal job beginning April 30 and ending October 2, 2021. For 48 hours (24 per person) a week you will receive a full hook-up site (30 or 50 amp) and utilities for the season. We have one more opening for a work camper couple for our 2021 season. You would be responsible as a couple for a maximum of 48 hours of coverage in and around the clubhouse at Fountain Lake RV Park, Inc. The hours will consist of office hours involving manning the office, cleaning of the clubhouse, clubhouse bathrooms, and laundry building. The office will be open 7 days a week and the hours will be split with our other Work camper couple or volunteer hosts. The office hours will be 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM with a 1 hour lunch break. Typical duties include: Cashiering, taking inventory and preparing lists for cleaning and paper goods needed, assisting members with items needed. Assisting customers checking in/out of the campground for corporate lot camping Assisting with special events: hot dog roasts, pancake breakfasts, rallies, etc. Propane tank filling. Must be able to lift 50 lbs. Watering the plants and flowers around the clubhouse Lawn mowing and weed eating the common areas of the park including, around the clubhouse, around the rally field and pavilion, around the mini-golf area, around the front gate, and around the corporate rental lots. We are looking for seasonal Camp Hosts starting May through October. Camp Host Duties: Set an example by being a model camper practicing good housekeeping and by observing all rules and regulations. Advise, assist and inform campers of rules, local Lake Geneva attractions, and the Wisconsin State Park system. Assist campers in locating their reserved campsites. Help to keep the campground presentable by picking up litter, performing light maintenance and housekeeping chores such as sweeping and stocking the bathrooms and mowing. Sell firewood Fridays and Saturdays from 4pm-9pm, and Sunday through Wednesday "as needed." Keep track of arrivals and departures by managing site post slips. Clean up campsites after campers have checked out. Help keep the beach clean by picking up any trash. Hours: Camp hosts are expected to be available on weekends. Fridays and Sundays are the busiest days. Camp hosts need to able to commit to a minimum working 5 days a week and 3 hours each day. Dells TimberLand Campground is looking for that special someone to join our team, Dells TimberLand is a small, family type campground located in South Central Wisconsin, just north of Wisconsin Dells. The campground is roughly ½ seasonal campers and ½ overnight campers. We are open from April 15th through October 15 with our main season from Memorial Weekend through Labor Day weekend. We are looking for a person or couple to fill a void left by the retirement of our long time Activities Director. This is a paid position and is best for someone that loves working with people and kids. Hours are somewhat flexible and range from 25 to 50 hours a week depending on the desire for additional hours of work. Duties include, leading activities, organizing events, activity setup and participation in activities such as social events like potluck dinners, hayrides, arts & crafts, sports, games as well as other events and activities.
