The Apalachicola National Estuarine Research Reserve, in beautiful Franklin County, Florida, is seeking Resident Volunteers for April through October of 2022 and March through December of 2023. We schedule three to four months at a time.
The main duty will be covering the nature center shifts on week days which includes greeting guests, answering questions about the reserve and the area, and ringing up gift shop sales. General grounds maintenance also required. Other duties may be assigned based on the volunteer’s interests and skills.
Volunteers are expected to work 20 hours per week. Campsite with full hookups will be provided in lieu of payment for work. An application and references are required. Please contact Janice if you have any questions!
