On-Site Manager – Beach RV Pleasure Point, Santa Cruz (Pleasure Point)
Live and work in one of Santa Cruz’s most desirable coastal neighborhoods!
We’re seeking an enthusiastic on-site RV park manager (or management couple) for our 16-space boutique RV park.

Responsibilities:
Guest Relations and Office Presence:

• Provide friendly, professional customer service via email, phone, and in-person
• Make reservations for guests and guide potential guests in their decision to stay with Beach RV
• Assist customers online and in person with checking in/out, electronic registration and forms, answering questions about Beach RV
• Pleasure Point and the surrounding area.
• Maintain consistent on-site presence during the day, and respond to after-hours emergencies
• Make an impact: Create a welcoming experience in a vibrant coastal location

Maintenance and Grounds:

• Perform routine maintenance tasks, including landscaping, cleaning common areas, and maintaining restrooms and laundry facilities to the highest standards
• Conduct basic repairs and handyman work (plumbing, carpentry, electrical, and painting) ensuring the park’s facilities are in good working order
• Coordinate and negotiate with contractors for major repairs and renovations
• Work closely with ownership to proactively identify improvements to site, operations, and business model

Administrative Tasks:

• Ensure financial records, payments, fees, debts are accurate and up to date in property management system (Campspot) and accounting system (QuickBooks Online)
• Enforce park rules and regulations
• Ensure compliance with Santa Cruz County regulations and California RV Park Occupancy Laws
• Assist with sales, marketing, and managing the park’s online presence
• Engage with ownership and advisors as necessary to handle exceptions and issues
• General property management duties

Qualifications:
Required:

• Minimum 2 seasons working in Property Management or Hospitality
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• General office management skills, highly organized and conscientious, with attention to detail
• Proven ability to provide outstanding customer service
• Problem-solving abilities and good judgment / people instincts
• Ability to work with little supervision and maintain a high level of performance
• Basic handyman skills (e.g., plumbing, painting, light carpentry) and ability to perform physicaltasks
• Proficiency with computers and basic software
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation

Strongly preferred:

• Extensive property management or hospitality experience
• Broad construction experience and skillset
• Strong local knowledge and network

Compensation & Benefits:

• $20.00 per hour
• Discounted on-site RV space provided (value offset as part of compensation; details discussed during interview)

• Although the position is part-time, it requires on-site coverage during most of the day, especially during the busy season, and full-coverage year-round – best for those with limited travel plans. Vacation/time-off in off-season only
• This position requires being physically able to maintain the grounds, common areas, bathrooms, and laundry facilities.
• On-site residency in your own RV is mandatory; housing is contingent upon continued employment
• Long-term position preferred
