Big Foot Beach State Park Is Looking For Camp Host in Wisconsin

We are looking for seasonal Camp Hosts starting May through October.

Camp Host Duties:
Big Foot Beach State Park•Set an example by being a model camper practicing good housekeeping and by observing all rules and regulations.
•Advise, assist and inform campers of rules, local Lake Geneva attractions, and the Wisconsin State Park system.
•Assist campers in locating their reserved campsites.
•Help to keep the campground presentable by picking up litter, performing light maintenance, and housekeeping chores such as sweeping and stocking the bathrooms and mowing.
•Sell firewood Fridays and Saturdays from 4 pm-9 pm, and Sunday through Wednesday “as needed.”
•Keep track of arrivals and departures by managing site post slips.
•Clean up campsites after campers have checked out.
•Help keep the beach clean by picking up any trash.

Hours:
•Camp hosts are expected to be available on weekends.
•Fridays and Sundays are the busiest days.
•Camp hosts need to able to commit to a minimum of working 5 days a week and 3 hours each day.

•Campground hosts are provided with an electrical campsite free of charge for the duration of their volunteer duty.
•Free water hook-up on site.
•Free admission to Big Foot Beach State Park.
•An invitation to the Volunteer Jamboree held each fall.
