Caddo Mounds State Historic Site Is Looking For Site Hosts In Texas

Caddo Mounds State Historic SiteSite Hosts needed for 400-acre state historic site and Museum, open 6 days a week. Two new asphalt pads in a shared site area – 30/50 amp service, sewer, Wi-Fi, and washer and dryer available.

Work 24 hours a week in exchange for site and utilities. Enjoy our fishing, boating (Neches 1 ½ miles), hiking (Davey Crockett National Forest 10 minutes away), bird watching, and wildlife. Immerse yourselves in Caddo Native American, early Spanish, and frontier Texas history.

Responsibilities might include assistance with grounds maintenance, mowing, flower beds, restroom maintenance, opening and closing site, painting and/or minor repairs, visitor center assistance, or other applicant interest areas. Year-round work is available.
