Big Dipper Adventures, LLC is the concessionaire responsible for the management of the Clearwater State Recreation Area near Delta Junction. The Delta Clearwater River is a world-renowned Arctic Grayling fishery and a fly fisherman’s dream.
The Clearwater River provides access to the Tanana and Goodpastor Rivers. A day float from the campground to Clearwater Lake or even further to the Tanana River is popular.
The campground has 15 sites and a boat launch. Shower and laundry facilities are located right next door at the newly constructed Clearwater Lodge.
In exchange for 30 hours per week, camp hosts are provided a campsite, free access to all parks and boat launches managed by Big Dipper Adventures, and a stipend of $100/week.
