Country Maples RV Resort Has Several Positions Available For 2025 Season In British Columbia
Country Maples RV Resort is located on Vancouver Island in Chemainus, B.C. This 30-acre property has 180 campsites, which includes full and partial hook ups, along with tenting & group sites. Two enclosed dog runs. We also have private trails leading to the Chemainus River with gorgeous deep swimming holes. Some of our amenities include a General Store, playgrounds, and laundry facilities as well as a seasonal heated swimming pool and 18-hole mini golf course.
Staff enjoy the perks of the park, including their immediate family members. Sites are available for those living onsite at a significantly reduced rate including full hook ups.
POSITION #1
OFFICE MANAGER-LIVING ON SITE IN OWN RV REQUIRED
This is a full-time position is day/evening/weekends maximum of 9 pm. Tuesday – Saturday.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Good communication, customer service. Preference given to experience in tourism.
- Excellent Computer skills: Excel, Word, Publisher, Outlook along with Reservation system (training provided) Rez Expert.
- Detail oriented, filing, and good organizational skills
- Bondable & willing to obtain a Criminal Record check
- Friendly and approachable personality
- Ability to deal with difficult customer situations and challenges.
DUTIES:
- POS system with Interac machine
- General sales & handling cash, daily balancing of records
- Providing visitor information in person and answering the phone
- Computer reservations; newsletters, signs, email, and other related tasks
- General cleaning/sanitizing of work areas
- End of Day reports, financial reports.
- Covering for Manager’s days off. Overseeing Park operations.
- Emergencies and other related duties.
This position is available on February 10, 2025 with reduced hours moving into a full-time position in March. Summer months require up to 8-hour shifts.

POSITION #2
NIGHT PATROL/MAINTENANCE-2025-LIVING ON SITE IN OWN RV REQUIRED
This position requires mostly weekends and evenings May to September – 30-40 hours per week. The job includes a variety of tasks from general maintenance with priority for doing security monitoring. Walk throughout the park. You will be provided with a golf cart to do duties as well. Must live on site in own RV.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Good communication skills
- Bondable & willing to obtain a Criminal Record check
- Ability to deal with customer situations and challenges that may arise in a courteous manner.
- Basic carpentry, electrical & plumbing experience required
- Physically able to do a variety of tasks, some heavy lifting at times, walking
DUTIES:
- Maintain the park grounds as needed
- Enforce rules of the park in a polite manner, spot, and challenge possible threats, know relevant laws pertaining to security and safety
- Delivery of firewood
- Report to Resort Manager & Maintenance Supervisor
- Assist with any emergency situations and report to the First Aid Attendant as required and/or Resort Manager
- Assist guests as needed/appropriate
- Able to use communication devices i.e., 2-way radio

POSITION #3
CUSTODIAN 2025
This is a physically demanding position with some customer interaction. Seasonal from April to November. This position is 25-40 hours/week.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Good communication skills
- Friendly and approachable personality
- Experience with customer service
- Organizational skills & work independently
- Ability to deal with customer situations and challenges that may arise in a courteous manner.
DUTIES:
- Cleaning washrooms, shower, and laundry facilities and rental RV’s.
- Launder rags that you pick up from store and maintenance
- Removal of garbage and recycling
- May be required to lift 25 lbs.
- Cleaning/sanitizing and adhering to Resort policies.
