Elings Park Is Looking For A Volunteer Host  In California

Elings Park located in beautiful Santa Barbara, CA 5 minute walk to the beach. We are a private park (not an RV park or campground), open to the public for day use.

About the position:
Volunteer Park Host Position  has been filled but please feel free to send resume for any future openings

FHU site in exchange for 20-25 hours a week/weekend work (no pay volunteer only). Weekend work required and all park hosts are required to work on the days we have large events 2-3 a year. Job duties include- working the kiosk at the main gate, membership checks, weekend parking, event parking when we have events, opening and closing of the park (gates, bathrooms etc. we do NOT clean bathrooms), checking in members at tennis, “security” patrol, signing up new members for our membership programs. Having another vehicle (car, scooter or bike) is helpful and required to close the south part of the park.

2 consecutive days off a week

Location: 230 acres of land – hiking trails, mountain bike trails, etc. Private Park (open to the public) located in Santa Barbara, CA – it is NOT a campground
