DESCRIPTION

The Guest Service Representative is responsible for providing attentive, courteous and efficient service to all guests prior to arrival and throughout their stay. They will accommodate campground guests by registering, keeping proper record of occupied sites, making and confirming reservations and collecting payments. They will help maintain a clean, well-stocked and organized store, laundry room and washroom and shower facilities.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Greet and welcome all guests approaching the front desk in accordance with KOA standards.
- Oversee and ensure that all guests are checked in/out in a friendly, efficient and courteous manner and inform guests of park regulations.
- Make reservations in person, by phone and by email.
- Take payment for camp sites and sales from small store.
- Resolve guest requests and concerns in a thoughtful manner while maintaining campground standards.
- Answer inquiries from guests regarding campground amenities and the Peace Region.
- Escort guests to their site and firewood delivery.
- Establish and maintain good communications and teamwork with fellow associates.
- Maintain high standards of professionalism, customer service, quality and cleanliness.
- Opening and closing of office, store, laundry and walk through park at quiet time.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
- Must be upbeat, friendly and enthusiastic while maintaining a professional attitude
- Excellent communication skills
- Organized with attention to detail
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize
- Be able to work as a team member
- Proficient with computers and software
- Previous customer and cash handling experience is an asset
- Knowledge of RV’s and camping is an asset
- First Aid Certificate is an asset
COMPENSATION
- Rate of pay at $15.00 per hour
- Full Hook Up with electricity, sewer, and Wi-Fi site is included as a taxable benefit
- Propane at current cost
- Free laundry
