This is a volunteer position for singles, couples or teams. Park Hosts do live in the park and Josephine County Parks provides a Full Hook-Up Site, which includes paid electric, water, sewer and trash service.
Lake Selmac offers many fun outdoor activities as well as a quiet escape from your busy life. Go boating, fishing or swimming. The park has nature trails for bicycle or horseback riding, bird watching or just exploring. You can also pack in the family for a day of disc golf or horseshoes and then settle down for the night around a cozy campfire. Lake Selmac also has multiple shelters available to rent for your special occasion. Lake Selmac is our largest park with 5 separate camping loops. Lake Selmac has 2 park host sites currently available.
Duties include managing reservations, helping campers, wood and ice sales, emptying garbage cans, general landscaping including raking, weed eating and blowing leaves, cleaning fire pits and bathrooms/showers.
Park Hosts are on duty for 5 days per week and must be present in the park on those days.
Hosts MUST have their own RV and bring with them excellent customer service skills. Candidates must pass a national background check and provide references.
