Kenai River Float-n-Fish Campground And Cabins Is Looking For Camp Host In Alaska

Kenai River Float-n-Fish Campground and CabinsSmall, private campground (20 sites) in Cooper Landing, Alaska, seeking Volunteer Camp Host for 2021 summer season.
Compensation is free host campsite with power and water in exchange for 24 hours of volunteer work a week (6 days on, 1 day off). Plenty of time off to explore beautiful Cooper Landing, fish the Kenai and Russian Rivers, mountain bike, hike, and have a good time.

Qualifications:

  • You must be 21-years old and have a valid driver’s license
  • Have your own self-contained, hard-sided RV or Camper
  • Have excellent customer service skills
  • Be willing to work in all weather conditions
  • Be able to pass a background check and provide references
  • Drug-free
  • Can work well with, and report to, company management

Duties include:

  • Live at the campground from mid-May through September
  • Greet clients, provide local information and explain rules & regulations, as necessary
  • Assist campers with check-in, reservation verification
  • Communicate potential or actual problems to company management.
  • Maintain and clean campsites, restroom (1 toilet, 1 shower, 1 porta-potty)
  • Perform light maintenance
  • Enforce camp rules, quiet hours
