Come Live on a Rescue Ranch. We have over 50 rescue ranch animals such as pigs, llamas, alpaca, sheep, goats, donkeys, emu, ducks and chickens. We are located in the Texas Hill Country in Blanco Texas. We are in the center radius of San Antonio, Austin, San Marcos, Boerne, Fredricksburg, New Branfauls, Spring Branch, Canyon Lake and Dripping Springs. We are in a perfect location to all the above cities.
Task consist of shared feeding of the animals with another camp working couple. We let chickens out and start to feed all the animals in their pins. There is an afternoon feeding and then at dusk chickens and smaller animals get turned in for the night. In addition to the daily task, we clean stalls and collect fresh chicken eggs. Life is very quiet, simple and pretty much ground hog day out here. From time to time you will accept new rescues and get their housing setup. There is mending of the fences and creating new living animal shelters. We don’t offer a salary for this job but we do offer a nice slip with free monthly hookup and utilities.
