Great Holiday Campgrounds, GHC, is seeking Camp Hosts for a small 24-site Alaska State Recreation Site and campground in Big Lake, Alaska for the 2022 season, May through mid September. Big Lake Alaska, is the watersport capital of Alaska and it’s BIG with more then 60-miles of shoreline and 23-Islands. Big Lake has everything you need; grocery & hardware stores, post office, churches, library and restaurants. It’s located about 15-miles south west of Wasilla AK and about 1-hour from Anchorage, with lots of fishing and sightseeing opportunities, sled dog kennels, and good people.
Expect lots of customer interaction and basic cleaning and upkeep duties.
Qualifications:
- You must be 21-years old, and have a valid drivers License
- Have your own self-contained RV or Camper
- Have Excellent Customer Service Skills and Cash Handling experience
- Be able to lift up to 60 lbs.
- Be willing to work in all weather conditions
This position is perfect for couples or individuals, hours vary through the season. Compensation is commission based + a percentage of receipts at contract completion and also includes a Camping Site w/ picnic table and fire ring. GHC also offers Hosts reduced rates on sport fishing charters and local flight seeing tours.
