The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers at Stanislaus River Parks is looking for a volunteer park host to be stationed at the day-use area – Knights Ferry Recreation Area.
The position requires hosts to assist Park Rangers and Maintenance with duties around the park and operate the Information Center on weekends. Benefits of this position include full hook-ups and free space for a recreational vehicle and one independent vehicle, as well as being in view of the longest covered bridge west of the Mississippi – a National Historic Landmark!
Knights Ferry, CA is located in the foothills of the Sierra Nevada along Highway 120/108 – centrally located to the Yosemite, the California Central Coast, and Sacramento. The position needs to be filled ASAP!!! Looking for hosts from April through September.
