Do you love the outdoors, fishing, hiking, riding ATVs, and living in a beautiful mountain setting? Then this is the place for you. Lake John Resort is looking for work campers for the 2026 season. (mid-May through mid-October) We are an RV and cabin resort located 18 miles west of Walden, CO in a beautiful valley that backs up to the Mount Zirkel Wilderness. Lake John is your front yard with an amazing panoramic view of the mountains and premier trout fishing. We are about an hour east of Steamboat Springs and 3 hours west of Denver. We are 1.5 hours south of Laramie, WY.

We’re seeking friendly, active individual (s) able to do physical work at 8,200’. Currently, we have 6 cabins (and 2 more under construction), a 30-site RV campground and a general store. Your work camping duties will include, but are not limited to, #1-housekeeping and #2-working in the general store; where you will answer the phone, make reservations, check guests in, run the register, stock and clean the store. Experience with Campground master, customer service and housekeeping is a huge plus.

The schedule will be between 15-20 hours per week per person. You will be paid monthly for all hours worked; you pay for your FHU site. Your hourly rate will be determined based on experience at the time of hire. We have WIFI and cell service.
