Lewis & Clark Caverns State Park Is Looking For Work Campers In Montana

Lewis and Clark Caverns State ParkJob Duties:

  • Collect envelopes in campground & dump station
  • Fill out reservation cards and distribute daily throughout campground
  • Clean campsites
    o Trash pickup
    o Firepit clean-out
  • Sell firewood
  • Promote interpretive programs
  • Monitor dump station
  • Inform visitors of park rules
    o Dogs off leash
    o Parking on grass
    o Quiet hours
  • Clean cabins
    o Sweep: floors (including under bed), outside in front of door
    o Sanitize

Benefits:

  • Full hookups: water, electric, sewer
  • Typical work schedule: 3 days on, 3 days off
  • $100 monthly stipend
  • on site laundry

Our location is remote and there is no internet service at the host site. Cell phone is available at the main visitor center (a short distance from the campground), depending on the provider. The town of Whitehall is 20 minutes away to the west and the town of Three Forks is 20 minutes away to the east. Both have grocery stores, gas stations, and some shopping.
