Available now, at the Mississippi Sandhill Crane National Wildlife Refuge, Gautier, MS. Volunteers assist in the visitor center, bookstore and with lawn work. We do not have a public campground. For approximately 20 hours per week, volunteers receive a full hook up site and access to a shared laundry. We do ask for a 2 month commitment, which can be extended to six months. This is a true volunteer position, there is no stipend. The refuge is located about 45 minutes West of Mobile, AL and about 90 minutes East of New Orleans, LA on the beautiful Mississippi Gulf Coast.
