The Okotoks Lions Campground is a busy urban campground seeking fun, friendly outgoing couples to join our team for the 2022 season.
The campground is open May 1st to Sept. 30th , but position begins around April 15th to October 15th
The main objective is to provide a quality recreational experience for campers and visitors.
Essential Functions:
- Demonstrate courteous and helpful attitude towards all campers / visitors
- Perform administrative tasks – fee collection, answer phones & make reservations.
- Maintain grounds – raking, mowing, watering, sanitizing restrooms / showers, emptying garbage cans, recycle bins and cleaning of tables & fire pits.
- Maintain a good working relationship with fellow employees.
Qualifications :
- Strong customer service skills; enjoys working with the public
- Basic manual labor abilities: able to lift 50 lbs on a frequent basis, willing to sanitize and clean facilities
- Must be able to work with minimal supervision and follow instructions accurately
- Excellent verbal and written skills, computer skills is an asset
- Able to work in extreme weather (heat or cold rainy days)
- Knowledge of small equipment (mowers, pressure washer, bobcat and RTV)
- Must be able to interact with people to advise of campground regulations
The successful candidates will receive a monthly wage per couple plus a full service RV site. More information will be provided upon inquiry with regards to compensation and schedule.
