Roberts Roost Resort is a family owned campground and we are looking for friendly and outgoing Campground Caretakers and Managers to join our team!

Daily tasks include but are not limited to:

Managing reservations via phone, email, and in-person
Facilitating guest check-ins and drop-ins
Balancing cash and credit card batches
Ordering inventory for camp store
Organizing boat rentals
Ensuring guests adhere to resort policies
Assisting guests to ensure they have a pleasant stay
Cleaning washroom and shower buildings
Tidying campsites after departures
General building and property maintenance
Landscape maintenance such as mowing, raking leaves, weeding, etc. as needed
Managing summer students
Organizing staff schedules & job rotations
Ordering inventory for camp store
Co-ordinating with cleaning staff

Requirements:

Friendly, outgoing, with excellent customer service skills
Comfortable using phone, email, Microsoft Word/Excel
Independent, confident, with strong problem solving skills
Goal oriented and motivated to accomplish goals
Be in good physical shape to complete yard & maintenance tasks
Previous experience in a managerial role an asset
Preference will be given to someone who has their own RV to live on site for the season from April 15th – October 15th. You will be given your own RV site with full services to live in for free for the entirety of the season.
Alternatively a large RV may be offered as onsite accommodation, terms of occupancy to be determined.
