2006 Four Winds Hurricane, 33 ft Class A, 27,058 Miles, 600W Solar – $24,900
This is a 33 ft Class A motorhome with the Ford Triton V10, only 27,058 original miles, two slide-outs and a clean Montana title in my name, it is in excellent condition and ready to move into.
I lived in this RV full-time for about a year and a half and traveled all over the West with it. It has been a very reliable rig and is already set up extremely well for off-grid camping. I took good care of it and it took good care of me. All appliances work properly and the leveling system works properly.
The solar system was professionally installed and includes 600W of rooftop solar, 300Ah of LiFePO4 lithium batteries, an MPPT charge controller and a 3000W pure sine inverter. You can comfortably camp without hookups, and it also has an onboard generator with only about 200h on it.
A few recent upgrades and maintenance items:
- 6 newer tires with about 7,000 miles on them (due for rotation)
- New chassis battery
- New coach batteries
- Recently passed California smog
- Tow package
A few things I want to be upfront about: the Montana registration expired August 31. A California buyer will need to complete the California registration/title process. California DMV has temporary permit options in certain situations while that process is being completed, and I’m willing to cover the cost of the applicable temporary permit if needed.
It’s also a 20-year-old RV, so it isn’t cosmetically perfect. The main awning has some damage and the electric entry step motor needs replacement. I’m willing to pay for the new step motor, an oil change and a tire rotation upon sale so the next owner can start fresh with those taken care of.
Mechanically it has treated me extremely well. The engine and transmission run flawlessly, and I’m happy to show you how the solar/electrical setup and everything else works. You’re welcome to inspect it thoroughly and take it for a drive.
