The Thunderbird is a family-owned small business, homesteaded in 1931. We are looking for energetic employees who are hard-working and goal-oriented. We are famous for our ho-made pies, bread, sweet rolls, and muffins, that we make from scratch in our bakery. Serving traditional American food from Homestyle breakfast to Shrimp & Steak dinners. The dining room fits 175 guests and is always packed with a high table turnover. Giving servers, and bussers opportunities for tips. The motel is a Best Western with 61 rooms that offer a great view of our 9-hole executive golf course. Employees will be offered discounts on our golf course.
In the area, we have Zion National Park 12 miles, Bryce Canyon National Park 60 miles, 100 miles to the North Rim of the Grand Canyon, and 90 miles to Lake Powell state park. The R.V. Park offers many trails off of it for ATVing, we have a pond and river for the avid fisherman, and plenty of hikes, all you have to do is pick a direction. This is a small community that runs on tourism and is family-oriented. It’s the perfect spot for families and couples, Single’s who are adventurous will also have a great time, especially if you have an animal. The Rent is $200 for 30 Amp, and $250 for 60 Amp a month with full hook-ups and WiFi. Employees will be asked to work 40 hours a week and rent will be deducted from checks.

Servers: $7.50/hour + Tips (90% of all tips go to the server and 10% to the busser) No group tip pools – you make it, you keep it.

Escalante Cabins and RV Park is situated along the iconic Route 12 surrounded by cliffs, canyons, and petrified forest. Less than an hour’s drive to Bryce Canyon National Park and a short and scenic 2-hour drive to the park of all parks Zion. There are excellent opportunities for Hiking, biking, fishing, and much much more.

Our property is part of the JET Hospitality, the leader in outdoor recreation lodging. This property features 4 cabins, 3 casitas, 78 RV Sites, and 9 pitch tent sites. In addition, we have a full-service coffee and deli that offers excellent deli, espresso, drip coffee, teas and other coffee house staples.

If you enjoy living + working in a stunning outdoor setting then Escalante, UT may be for you! We are looking for a young and energetic personality who will take pride in contributing to our latest addition of a coffee shop. This person would be responsible for taking and making orders, tracking supplies and being the reason our guests smile in the mornings.

Compensation is negotiable based on experience but starts at $10/hr plus tips. An RV site can be provided and is part of the overall comp package along with laundry, showers and wifi.
