Housekeeping Needed – Couple or Individual
Mid May 2025 thru Mid September 2025 – FHU & hourly pay position available for the right experienced, outgoing, motivated, friendly couple or individual. This position is mainly for cabin & bath house cleaners, with the possibility of a small amount of office help. Work will require changing bed linens, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, disinfecting & cleaning bathrooms, showers and kitchens. Normally, we will do the laundry but there may be times you are asked to help. We are very particular about how thorough our cabins are cleaned and our reviews reflect that. Please only apply if you have high cleaning standards and are physically capable of performing the work described above. Bending, stooping, light lifting, etc is required. On average a couple will clean 2-4 hours per day minimally 6 days or possibly more per week if needed and agreed too by both parties. 18 hours of work per week is required for the FHU site. Any additional hours over and above the 18 would be paid at $15.00 per hour. We cannot guarantee how many paid hours will be available each week as it depends on work load, best if you have another source of income. FHU includes 30/50 Amp, water, sewer, trash & Wi-Fi. We are a smaller park with 18 RV sites and 11 cabins, situated on 6 acres in the beautiful Rio Grande National Forrest at an elevation of 8200 FT. We are 17 miles from Wolf Creek Pass and 43 miles from Pagosa Springs. We are an historic site for the town of South Fork as our cabins and property were built in 1908 and housed mill workers that worked next door at the historic Galbreath Tie and Timber Company. Lots to do in the area. Hundreds of miles of off road trails, mountain & rail biking, hiking, river rafting, tubing, golfing and some of the best gold medal water river and lake fishing Colorado has to offer. Hot springs within 40 miles to the east and west of us. South Fork, CO is a town of 500 permanent residents but grows to about 10 thousand during the summer months. (May through October) We are an RV and cabin resort. We are located 17 miles west of Walden, CO at 8200’ in a beautiful valley that backs up to Mount Zirkel wilderness. Lake John is your front yard with an amazing panoramic view of the mountains and has premier trout fishing. There are many rivers and lakes to fish in the area and antelope, deer, elk and moose to watch and enjoy along with lots of hiking trails. We are about an hour east of Steamboat Springs and 3 hours west of Ft. Collins and Denver. We are 1.5 hours south of Laramie, WY.
Looking for right couple to be host at private lake. Duties include mowing on occasion, mostly checking that only members are fishing at lake and using facilities. Very laid back job. Seasonal runs from about middle May till middle September. Would be for 2025 season. Nice camp site has utilities furnished. No pay just free camp site. Very selective on applicants. Approx.. 7500-foot elevation. Beautiful area. Close to National Forest area.
