Wildwedge Golf and RV Park Is Looking For A Couple Or Single Person For The Summer In 2024 In Northern Minnesota Lakes Area

Wildwedge Golf and RV ParkAre you looking for a fun adventure in a great vacation area over the summer? We are looking for a couple or single person to help us out as a work camper during the summer. The ideal person(s) must be flexible, friendly, self-motivated, easy-going, able to work without a lot of direct supervision and enjoy variety in their day, with a “can-do” attitude. We are especially looking for someone who enjoys personal interaction with guests, gardening, mowing, etc. Would love to have someone who would be interested in returning for multiple years. Minnesota/Midwest experiences or roots a plus but not necessary. We are a pet-friendly park, so your well-behaved pets are welcome and dog lovers are a plus.

Our business includes the RV Park, a 9 hole par 3 golf course, mini golf, driving range and a wooden maze.
See our website http://www.wildwedge.com for more info about our business.

ABOUT US: We are flexible and easy-going, “go with the flow” kind of people and enjoy being around and work best with other people who have a similar personality. Being a smaller, newer park, you just never know what will come up, so jack-of-all-trades types and those who feel variety is the spice of life would fit in great! Todd is a very hands-on type of owner/manager and likes to be involved in many aspects of the business, so he is around a lot. Jill is more involved with managing the golf course clubhouse, marketing, and bookkeeping aspect of our businesses, along with running her own women’s golf bag business (www.birdiebabegolf.com).
We have 2 grown boys, Drake and Trenton, who both live in Colorado but try to come back for a stint in the summer to enjoy MN summer and help Mom & Dad out. Our other “kid” is our golden retriever, Tiki, who is with us a lot at work.

ABOUT OUR AREA: If you are not familiar with this part of Minnesota, we are THE “Lakes Area” of “The Land of 10,000 Lakes”, which tells you how many lakes we have. We have over 400 lakes in our area and dozens of golf courses within a short distance. The famous Whitefish Chain of Lakes is just down the road, with access within a few miles of the RV Park. The Gull Lake Chain of Lakes is about 15 miles away. And hundreds of smaller lakes are everywhere. So if you enjoy boating, fishing, kayaking or anything to do with water, this is the place to be. We are also located on the paved Paul Bunyan Bike Trail and Paul Bunyan Scenic Byway for great walking, biking and hiking for hundreds of miles. For more info on the area, go to http://www.explorebrainerdlakes.com.

Our RV park and golf course is located on 60 acres. We have 49 sites, with most of them seasonal. We also have 3 lodge rooms in the RV office building that we rent out short term. We do not have office hours, but just being available around the property to help checking people in/out, light cleaning, helping guests to their sites, mowing, watering plants, blowing off mini golf carpet etc. It’s pretty laid back. Our work camper sites are very nice large lots close to the lodge building. They are as nice as any of the sites in the park. In exchange for being available (we have one other couple that has been there many years, who are flexible and figure out schedule together, lots of time off to explore), we include your FHU (50 amp) site, electricity, wifi, cable tv, unlimited golf and mini golf, laundry, firewood, use of kayaks and a pontoon boat located on the Whitefish Chain (14 lakes connected). If you have friends/family visiting we give favorable rates to our sites and lodge rooms when available. We are open approximately May 1 – Oct 1 depending on weather. However, when we really need people would be about May 15 thru Sept 15, with Memorial Weekend thru Labor Day Weekend being prime time. We are flexible on dates, so just ask. And if you need time off for family events or whatever, we are very flexible. We generally like to do Site and Hookups only, but may be open to some extra pay for more hours worked in clubhouse or mowing/landscaping.

Please send resume, info, references and pictures of your RV/pets to
We look forward to hearing about you!
