Position: Work Camp Security and Maintenance Team (Ideal for RVing Couples) June 1- Sept 30, 2024

Location: Peace River, AB – A stunning escape into nature’s embrace, offering breathtaking views and a serene atmosphere.

Role Overview: As the heart of our nighttime operations, you’ll play a crucial role in maintaining the peace and beauty of our grounds.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting security checks and responding to after-hour calls, ensuring a safe environment for all guests.
  • Upholding the cleanliness and order of our RV Park, Cecil Thompson Park, and East Side Storage Grounds.
  • Monitoring RV park and laundry facilities during the evening, addressing any irregular activities.
  • Managing the storage yard and ensuring security measures are in place after office hours.
  • Assisting guests with propane tank refills and deliveries (comprehensive training provided).
  • Enforcing park rules and contributing to a positive, community-oriented atmosphere.

Work Schedule:

Flexible 3-4 days per week, adapting to the seasonal needs of the RV Park. Expect serene evenings and the opportunity to enjoy your days exploring or relaxing in our beautiful setting.

Employment Conditions:

This is a seasonal position, perfect for those looking to spend their summer immersed in nature.
Instead of a traditional hourly wage, you’ll be compensated with a prime 30amp RV spot complete with full hookups ($681.45/month, Site Fee and GST) you pay power.

Irricana Campground Is Looking For Caretakers In Alberta $$

Irricana CampgroundThe Irricana & District Ag Society invites applications for Campground Caretakers for the Irricana campground.

  • 35 sites with power & water
  • 10 sites, no services
  • Central washroom/shower facility
  • Starting at $2000/month

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Must provide your own RV unit and reside at the campground for the duration of the 2024 camping season.
  • Must be available to start residing at the campground May 6, 2024, until mid to end of September.
  • Inform Park guests of regulations and if necessary, enlist the assistance of Public Safety.
  • Remain available to respond to questions or schedule reservations/bookings throughout the day.
  • Handle all incoming phone reservations supplied by the Ag Society and Town.
  • Prepare campsites for the summer season with the assistance of Ag Society/Town staff.
  • Maintain garbage collection, monitor camp stalls between bookings, coordinate septic pump outs, and washroom janitorial duties.
  • Cut grass as required.
  • Ensure adequate supplies are on hand and contact Ag Society if restocking is required.

Qualifications:

  • Exceptional customer service skills.
  • Experience with cash and debit/credit transactions.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize accordingly.
  • Ability to remain calm in stressful situations.
  • Hold a valid driver’s license in good standing.

Campground Host and Other Positions at Little Bow Provincial Park and Wyndham-Carseland Provincial Park – Alberta

We are seeking retired couples to fill summer staffing positions.
The position is ideal for couples wanting to spend summer camping, who like to interact with other campers while being active.
We are looking for couples or single person with their own RV to assist in the operation of the park. Positions are open from May 10 to Sep 10.

Host must be energetic, enjoy meeting and greeting people, physically fit, possess good communication skills, good manners and a helpful attitude.

Responsibilities include public relations, collection of fees, informing campers of park regulations, daily cleaning of campsites and washroom facilities, lawn mowing, weed eating as required.

Company truck and golf cart are provided for work use.
Other positions available: security, concession worker, maintenance.
Volunteer positions are available in exchange for a full hookup RV site.

Compensation package will be negotiated on an individual basis. As part of the compensation workers will be provided with a full hookup RV site.

Discovery Wildlife Park CampgroundLooking for a couple to assist our campground managers in operating our campground. Duties would include checking in and out of campers, operating the concession/gift shop, cleaning and maintaining washrooms, showers and sites. Other duties would be watering trees, weed-eating and minor repairs. Job would be 5 days a week from May until Sept.
