LEAD HOUSEKEEPER MAINTENANCE COUPLE WANTED

Bentley’s Saloon and Campground located in Arundel, Maine, is seeking a working couple at our seasonal popular destination. At the saloon, there are indoor and outdoor bars, eating and entertainment areas, dance floors and band stages, a six-room motel and a gift shop. Within walking distance from the saloon is a campground with 100 full-service campsites and 18 park models for rent.
There are weekly car shows; live music and entertainment daily; motorcycle, jeep and tractor shows; costume parties; tribute bands; cornhole tournaments; fundraisers supporting community and the list continues. The camaraderie between guests and staff create a memorable, fun experience for everyone.
Our season runs from mid-April through October. We are currently seeking a lead housekeeper, gift shop worker and maintenance, general labor couple to join our team this year. We are fortunate that the majority of our staff return every year, and because of this, we are not seeking work campers to join us as servers or bartenders.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Working alongside our cleaning staff to provide our guests with clean, safe and enjoyable experience in all our facilities including the saloon, motel, park models and bathhouse.
• General gift shop work, selling and folding tee-shirts, cashier, greeting campers, handling check-ins and phone calls.
• General maintenance
• Mowing
• Making campsites guest ready
• Escorting guests to sites
• Some security
• Assisting during events, i.e.: parking, directing traffic, general other duties.

Working & Physical Requirements
These roles require scheduling flexibility, including nights, weekends and holidays as needed. Must be willing to work at least 20 hours per week. Work may be indoors or outdoors in all kinds of weather, with periods of walking, standing, or driving across the property.
You’ll use tools, cleaning supplies, and equipment regularly while keeping a positive, guest-friendly attitude.
Standing, walking, bending, stretching, lifting (40+ lbs)
Repetitive tasks such as cleaning, site resets, and light repairs,
operating tools, housekeeping supplies, and maintenance equipment safely.
