Position Type: Full-Time, Part-Time, Seasonal (5-month contract), Volunteer positions available
Hours: Flexible hours, 10-40 hrs a week
Pay: $18.00-$20.00 per hour
Start Date: Spring/Summer 2026

Job Description
As a Campground Host at Coquihalla Campground, you will support the daily operation of one of the Fraser Valley’s busiest municipal campgrounds. This role is ideal for individuals who are dependable, personable, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-traffic environment.
Applicants must own their own RV or trailer, as this role requires living on-site in a fully serviced campsite.
Paid position has ability for 10-40 hours a week.
Volunteer position requires overnight presence at a minimum.

Key Responsibilities

Site & Facility Operations

• Clean and prepare campsites after departures
• Maintain washroom and shower facilities
• Monitor common areas, playgrounds, and picnic shelters
• Perform routine groundskeeping and light repairs

Guest Support & Customer Service

• Greet guests and assist with arrivals and inquiries
• Provide information on campground rules and local attractions
• Support office staff and management as needed
• Respond to minor guest concerns in a calm, professional manner

Security & After-Hours Support

• Be available during evenings and overnight hours for non-emergency guest assistance
• Conduct compliance and quiet-time walks
• Support site security by reporting concerns and enforcing campground policies
• Promote a safe, respectful, and family-friendly environment
