Riverwoods Plantation is an award-winning, resident-owned 55+ active adult community located in the heart of Estero, Florida. The community consists of 640 units and is situated along the Estero River, providing a unique “river to the sea” connection.
We also have a boat launch area with storage available for boats-first come first serve. We have our own Yacht club. It also has a one hole putting green with available chip shots for practice.
Community Highlights:
- Activities Coordinator – A dedicated Activity Coordinator coordinates a full calendar of events, including dances, holiday dinners, live entertainment, and educational classes.
- Lots of activities: tennis, pickleball, horseshoes, shuffleboard, off site golfing for men and women, miniature golf off site, volleyball, bocce ball, exercise classes both in hall and in the pool in the mornings-all included with renter’s rent.
- There are a lot of different card games during the week, such as Cribbage, Pinnacle,Bridge, Euchre, Mil N golf, Hand n foot, etc.

We have a senior Olympics once a year in Feb, where you may win medals, we have state picnics where people bring a dish to pass-many have prizes and drawings with games. Every Friday Morning they have Perk and Gaze where coffee and donuts are available for purchase (Bring your own cup). Lots of stuff is discussed on the upcoming week’s events.
