We’ve recently acquired this 27-room hotel in historic Buffalo, Wyoming — just minutes from downtown, outdoor recreation, and the Bighorn Mountains.
We’re looking for a Property Innkeeper to lead the property through its brand transition while owning day-to-day operations. This role is for someone who takes pride in running a tight ship, understands hospitality from the inside out, and is comfortable being the person on-site who makes things work.
This is not just a front desk role. It’s a hands-on leadership position with real responsibility and autonomy.
What You’ll Be Responsible For
Operations & Guest Experience
- Manage check-in/check-out and all guest interactions professionally
- Resolve guest issues calmly and effectively
- Ensure consistent quality across all 27 rooms and public spaces
Conversion & Onboarding
- Lead on-site transition efforts and implement JET Hospitality standards
- Establish new procedures and workflows
- Coordinate with above property operations, vendors, and contractors
- Assist with updates to signage, systems, and operational materials
Team Leadership
- Set expectations and standards for the property
- Build a culture of accountability, initiative, and pride
Marketing & Reputation
- Capture and share property highlights for listings and social media
- Monitor and respond to guest reviews and follow-up communication
- Work closely with the above property sales team to generate leads and secure group and negotiated bookings
Maintenance & Housekeeping Oversight
- Inspect rooms and common areas to maintain cleanliness standards
- Report and coordinate maintenance needs
- Execute the preventative maintenance program
What We’re Looking For
- Experience in hospitality or hotel operations (management preferred)
- Strong leadership and decision-making skills
- Excellent communication and guest service instincts
- Comfortable with hands-on work and problem-solving
- Tech-capable: reservations systems, basic admin tools, and social platforms
