Seeking a work-camper couple or individual for River’s Edge Campground located 1 mile north of Johnson City, TX. This campground is being developed on a portion of a beautiful 160-acre ranch that borders Hwy 281 and the Pedernales River. In addition to river activities, there are amenities including shower/laundry facilities, picnic tables, fire rings, a club room, a hike and bike trail, swimming pool, disk-golf course, playground, basketball, pickleball and volleyball courts, and covered RV storage. We are opening in phases and the ideal candidate is a hardworking couple or individual who can help with development, maintenance, customer service, and cleaning. Compensation will be a FHU site in exchange for 35 hours per month, electricity is individually metered and not included. Additional hours, if available would be paid, starting at $18/hour. Rockport KOA Holiday Is Looking For Grounds Keepers and House Keepers For The 2024 Spring and Summer Season In Texas $$

Groundskeepers are responsible for maintaining the lawns and rock gardens and may be asked to help in other areas of the campground a needed. The Activity Director is responsible for overseeing and coordinating all Resort Activities, Events, Meals, and Entertainment. This position reports directly to the Resort Manager. The ideal candidate will need to be someone who loves events and plans to return for multiple seasons. Canyon Lake RV Resort is popular for having a full event schedule and maintaining this schedule during the season. This individual would agree to be onsite from October through March.

Responsibilities:

• Plan, coordinate, and implement Activities, Events and Meals within the Resort.
• Manage Work campers and Volunteers assigned to the Activities Department and Kitchen.
• Pre-Plan Entertainment for future Seasons.
• Evaluate the success of events, activities and meals for future planning.
• Oversee Financial Budgets for the Activities Department and Kitchen.
• Lead Monday Morning Presentations and Meetings
• Coordinate scheduling for Main Club House and other designated venues located on Property.
• Enlisting volunteers
• Shopping and decorating for specific events.

Qualifications:

• Demonstrate excellent communication Skills, both written and verbal.
• Organized, Detailed Orientated and ability to multitask.
• Ability to Manage Workcampers and Volunteers.
• Have Computer Skills (Word and Excell)
• Excellent People Skills (Ability to get along with different personalities)
• Design skills a plus (Canva, photoshop, photography)
