Location McCord Business Center on Ayers Street, just seconds from the Cross-Town Expressway and Holly Road. Only 20+ miles from Padre Island — great fishing and fun in the sun whenever you want it.
Position We are looking for a responsible, clean, good-natured, mature couple who is settled in their lifestyle (travel bug mostly out of your system), has their own source of income, and owns a well-maintained newer RV.
You will live in your RV on-site in a trade-out arrangement: light work in exchange for a full-hookup site (electricity, water, sewer, Wi-Fi) completely free.
Duties (very light) One member of the couple will handle:
- Mowing and weed-eating the property
- Occasional minor painting or driveway pothole patching
- Basic building maintenance only when needed
- Keeping the property safe and secure by simply being present and watching for non-tenants
The person doing the physical tasks must be able to occasionally climb a ladder with light materials (roofing, etc.), but this is rarely required.
Important honesty from the owner I described the duties above just to attract the right people. In reality there is almost no work — just keeping the property mowed, clean, safe, and looking good. Most days you’ll simply enjoy the peace and quiet of a beautiful, secure RV site.
Compensation Full hookups (FHU) with all utilities free. No cash pay. Because security requires you to be on-site and available, we cannot allow an outside part-time job.
What we’re looking for
- A clean, attractive, well-kept RV (no window A/C units, no faded paint/decals)
- Reliable, sober, non-smoking couple who will respect the property and our other tenants
You will not find a quieter, safer, cleaner, or more spacious RV site anywhere in the area.
