Table Rock State Park Is Looking For Volunteer Camp Host Starting In May In South Carolina
Welcome to your next adventure with Table Rock State Park in Upstate South Carolina! Not only are we a very scenic park with beautiful forests, mountain streams, abundant wildlife and rocky viewpoints, we are also a historic park, built by the Civilian Conservation Corps nearly 100 years ago. We are only 20 minutes from both Pickens and Easley, each with everything you’ll need for stores and shopping. We also offer free laundry onsite and free WiFi in the campground. 50 amp sites and sewer hookups come standard!
At this time, we are looking for some great folks to help take care of our campgrounds…beginning in May through Fall season and beyond. We have great fall colors and winter are pleasant! Beyond our 2-month minimum/6 month maximum.
The duties are as follows:
- Servicing and maintaining comfort stations (bathhouses)
- Cleaning out fire rings.
- Helping keep campgrounds litter-free
- Assisting guests with inquiries and occasionally helping register guests for hikes.
- Opportunities to exercise individual skillsets based on park needs.
Usually you’ll need to spend no more than 6 hours per day on these duties, up to 24 hours per week for a single individual or 32 hours per week for a couple. You’ll also have Tuesday and Wednesday off to do as you please.
